BP Billing Service Station

Hidden gem 😊, from the outside you would never guess the variety of products and services provided, including a free cash machine inside. Staff friendly, efficient and helpful. Prices expensive so not for the weekly shop but comparable to most corner shops and worth the little bit extra for long opening hours, good selection of groceries, fresh bakery items, fruit and veg and delicious sausages from a local butcher.

This is my local petrol station and while the staff are pleasant, the organisation is poor. There is no traffic flow in operation, so cars arrive at the pumps from two different directions, so delays are inevitable even when its not that busy. Today was the third consecutive time that I have queued up only to find the petrol I need, (97 octane) has run out. This time, with no signs, I had a fruitless two minutes squeezing the trigger until a member of staff told me the pump was empty. I shall not use this petrol station again!

I use them every fortnight and find the staff professional and friendly but sadly it's hard to say when a sensible time to get petrol from because they are always busy because the nearest station is on the dual carriageway and they deal with other businesses close by

This fuel station is relatively cheaper compared to the BP and Shell stations on London Road. It has an ATM, a convenience store, a good Chinese takeaway and a fish and chips store next door to it on either side as well as a hand car wash and tyre pump.

However, where it is severely lacking is traffic flow management. Cars come from both sides causing havoc at times. There’s only one pump for Ultimate Diesel and one for Ultimate Unleaded and there’s always a queue even during off peak hours so it takes some time before you’d be able to fuel up.

Says close at 10pm that's a lie. Went there at 2120 and fully closed, no sight of any staff. So need to update the hours as misleading to customers

Petrol prices that are going up daily when other stations are not putting there's up anywhere near as much or as frequently

Bird mess still all over my car supposed to do inside but done a rubbish job also some pound coins down the side of my seat went missing went missing out of my car don’t bother going here absolutely joke

Very friendly staff and management. Stocked real well. They also sell this amazing Car Air Fresheners called VIP that are perfume based. Really incredible quality and long lasting. Try them
