ESSO EG KING EDWARD

Short on diesel today probably due to just being opened. I didn’t feel there was enough pumps for the size of the forecourt and the nearby KFC could make it very busy. The shop inside was well stocked and glad we have something 24/7 now in town.

24hr Garage & shop !!!
But you are not allowed in the shop after 10pm !
Really useful when you are hungry (but also have dietary requirements). As I have never been there before - I had no idea what they sold - so no idea what I wanted !
Never been before - and wont be going again !

Quick and easy, still pay at till which I liked better than paying at machine. Then went to the KFC which was easy, wait time was average and the milkybar milkshake was delectable.

Not long been opened, replacing the much smaller one that was originally there. It now has an ASDA incorporated but as per normal with ESSO, prices are higher than the local ASDA supermarket. One other plus is that there is a drive thru' KFC🍗 attached to the side of the main building.

It very new and well stocked shop and sandwich takeaway with KFC next door but that only opens dinner till later evening. Plenty of parking if just shopping But this Asda petrol and shop is Nothing to do with main Asda a few hundred yards away. If you are Asda store staff you can Not use your discount card, the products are purchased through Asda warehouse but sold independently apparently. A big grip is the exit onto the main road if need to turn right onto London Road South bound especially on busy days, turning left to town good but right you need a decent fellow motorists to let you out. The forecourt has 4 charging machines for Electric vehicles. No idea how much they charge as absolutely no interest in ever buying an Electric car, needs 2 hours charging for 150 miles range you having a laugh. My car has 700 miles range and only takes 5 minutes to fill up, can take longer waiting at the till to pay..

Went to the KFC, its loads better than the old one. Just not enough space for waiting and can get a little crowded and the self order touch screens felt a little grubby. Obviously not the staffs fault, just, it wasn't a pleasant experience feeling mystery braille.

Can't afford Esso diesel.

Great garage with a Asda - KFC - free cash machine is always handy

Nice little Asda / Esso with decent range inc fresh and frozen , Greg’s bakery also inside with hot drinks and a kfc next door. Petrol few pennies more but also has electric charging and a cash machine.
