Asda (Petrol)

A petrol station located beside a large Asda superstore. It has a car washing facility, hoover, water and air dispenser. Petrol wise the station has four double pumps so it can serve 8 cars at a time. Two of those pumps are "cards only" and open/functioning 24/7.
This station is one with the lowest price on petrol in the area.

With the current petrol crisis, this garage is very well organised. There were stewards/marshals directing the traffic in, and so despite of a bit of a queue, everything moved very quickly and smoothly. There is a self-service jet washing service where you can buy time for use of the equipment also a tyre air pressure pump, a vacuuming machine and an air freshener/fragrance dispenser

Always seems to be 0.2p cheaper than the tesco down the road. The pumps on the left are part by card at the pump, the pumps on the right you can pay someone who sits in the small building, but only during the day.

Non staffed, fuel stop, so you need a card to pay. The area is very clean, no litter there is also tyre pump and a car wash on site.

Never been to a petrol station drive through. But it was quick easy and I think more should have these

ASDA petrol stations are ok as we mostly use the pay at pump facility. The ASDA petrol station Great Yarmouth is very hard to find and also the directions are sometimes way off when using sat nav to navigate to get you there as we experienced today. Not sure if not got the directions due to sat nav not finding the satellites due to bad weather, or instructions are off a bit. It took 30+ mins to find when it should have taken 3 mins max .

I usually full up at Asda when I do my groceries as it's usually the cheapest fuel.. I'm not local and was visiting Great Yarmouth. Still I drove to this Asda to fill up even though it's a bit far out and had to cross the bridge on the other side. Later I discovered that they were not the cheapest and the Shell on St Nicholas Road which was closer to my destination was actually cheaper. Good learning for the future. ASDA is NOT always the cheapest so look around

Always a good price for petrol. I always use self service, took me a while to pluck up courage to use but I prefer this way now. Quick and easy.
