cheap petrol. Usually cheaper than TESCO in Mold. Friendly staff. Oil for chainsaw and 2 stroke engines. Cold beer, snacks, bread. You can even find jump lead, hand crafted stuff here

I recently contacted Rhydymwyn service station to enquire about hiring a van. It was very short notice and an unusual request as we needed it to enable us to move house over Christmas, (not advisable and never again), but the reception we received was 1st class. Everyone we dealt with was so polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
The van was immaculate and they were very professional.
When we realised we needed to keep the van for an extra day (which was unplanned), I called the service station and it was obviously closed as it was a bank holiday. I left a voicemail message and to my surprise, got a call back within approx 30 minutes just to acknowledge that I had called and to say it was fine we kept the van for longer. They didn't even demand payment for the additional day and trusted us to settle up when returning the vehicle - which obviously we did!
It was a very pleasant experience throughout and really helped us out in what was already an extremely stressful time.
Rhydymwyn service station was recommended to us by a friend and I have absolutely no reservations in recommending them to anyone else, be it for van hire, fuel, the shop or the garage. The owners and staff were simply wonderful. 5/5!! 😁

Cheapest place for diesel. Nice little shop with public toilets and a coffee bar.
