Been coming here for years on a motorbike and this morning, I was asked to remove my helmet before they would let me fill up - because of their new facial recognition cameras in store.
I was wearing a flip front helmet with which my face was clearly visible. I asked the attendant if she thought I had a second face on the back of my head or something and was told that it's policy. I got back on my bike and fuelled up in Tesco for less.
I wonder if they will ask all customers to remove head coverings such as hoodies or face masks 😷 that vulnerable might wear? Annoying!

ASKING A MOTORCYCLISTS TO REMOVE THEIR HELMET PUT THEM IN DANGER FROM PETROL SP.ASHES WHEN FILLING, FOGGING OF VISORS AND IN DANGER OF NOT SECURING STRAPS IF DISTRACTED BY OTHER CUSTOMERS.

Even though I completely lifted my chin guard on my helmet to ensure my face is visible, I was told that in future I would need to remove my helmet.
When I asked why, I was told it was Company Policy and for the facial recognition cameras.
I asked if people wearing hats were asked to remove their hats, but I was told that's not the same aparently.

This petrol station has a very useful shop with a good selection of groceries, drinks, snacks and household items. Many items are lesser known brands which makes an interesting change to the usual fare.

Loads of space to fill up the car, with plenty of pumps available. There is a car wash and vacuum for you to clean the car and it has air for you tyres.

The shop has loads of items for food, co op food products and ready to eat options are great with hot dogs and icecream

Always good customer service, all the staff have always been decent no rudeness, other garages may want to take a leaf out of this garages attitude towards customers, well done all keep up the good work 👏
