Good food and quick polite service and a lovely Riverside setting. A good stop off if you're walking the path along the river Trent

One of the best Sunday launches I've ever had!
I chose the lamb which was cooked to perfection so too were the selection of vegetables and my partner chose the the steak pie and mash of which she said was equally as nice.
I would definitely recommend a visit for the food but also a very friendly professional staff which made the whole dinning experience very nice.

We went here for a family lunch. Our first "big" family meeting since the start of Covid, 20 of us. We were in the Captains Table room, which was great because we not disturbing other people with our noise. The food was good, lamb was cooked as we asked for it, not over cooked. The service was very good, our thanks to Tom, our main waiter

Considering it was Wednesday lunch the Bromley was very busy & our starters took a while to arrive - probably over 30 minutes). We all had mushrooms on toast which were tasty but the toast was hard to cut.
Mains were fine; large portions which none of us could finish. Needless to say we did not have desserts. Two courses for £12.95 was good value.

Great country pub. Would suggest making a booking on the weekends.

Steak and ale pie! This was really good, lots of meat and gravy. The menu has many choices so you should find what you like. The staff here were really nice and helpful

We finally got to do our Wedding Reception here in October 21, even though we have already been married for 15 months!!! We had the Captains Cabin function room! Alan and his team were fantastic, from start to finish everything was perfect! The food was amazing! The staff were well presented and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. All of our guests had such a wonderful time, we even had to pay the mini Bus to wait longer as no one wanted to leave!!! A great night! A huge Thank you to you all for making our special evening memorable!! Dawn & Colin Burgess
