I haven’t eaten here for some time. It was a lovely sunny day and we went for lunch. Nice and clean. My only complaint is that I saw butternut squash being cooked on the same grill as the meat. As a vegetarian this was concerning. The food was good. My friend had a roast beef sandwich. Service was slow and no one explained the process for example you needed to collect your own cutlery. I would eat there again but would need to see how the vegetarian food is prepared

Popped in here with my best friend and her daughter. A very welcoming place with a mouth-watering menu. We had Sticky Saugages to start then shared a pizza. Delicious. Attentive and friendly staff. Finished off by sharing a sticky toffee pudding! What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon

Went for a roast dinner today. When we came here a few weeks ago they looked so nice ,we said we would give them a try today. Not impressed. We sat in the garden for table service. This was great. The wait for food was about 20 mins. The roasts (chicken) arrived but the veg was rock hard, like it just been shown the pan of boiling water and then removed. Swede mash had hard lumps in it. Cauliflower cheese again hard. To say we was disappointed is an understatement.
This pub has an excellent sunny garden but the food needs much to be desired.

Booked for a special occasion. Was greeted with friendly welcome and taken to our seat. 2 adults and a child. Food was a little expensive but nice country pub so happy to pay.
Main meal came out quickly and was very very tasty. Would love to know what they do to the carrots, they were something else! Whole family enjoyed main dinner.
Unfortunately after the main course is where we was let down. Our waitress seemed to disappear (I think end of shift) but we was left waiting a very long time for dessert, eventually as had a 3 year old with me had to get up and ask at the bar.
But once ordered the dessert came over quickly, seemed like they only had 1 person serving the meals. It was not very busy in the pub.
Pub does allow dogs to roam (not a dog person so a little put off, but I understand it's a traditional country pub)
Anyways, great food, would eat again.
Just feel needs more staff to be perfect.

What a gorgeous place. Tucked away along a country road, surrounded by farmland, this is a little gem.
Has ample parking in it's own car park (easily 30 cars) and large, well maintained garden with large seating area.
Serves Doom Bar, light ales and ciders. Food is a little pricey (about £12.50 for a main and £5.00 for a side. Specials - Whole chicken is £26, steak £24).
Staff are friendly. Tea and cake on Friday mornings from 10.30am.
Dog friendly - must be kept on a lead.

We hadn't been for a few years so decided to retry it but were unfortunately reminded why we hadn't been! Food was ok, service average, poor wine availability and the full children's menu not available on Sundays (no mention of this on their website) so nothing my daughter would eat. At over £125 for 4 adults to have a main course only, 1 child's meal, 2 glasses of wine and 3 soft drinks, we won't be back anytime soon.

Lovely pub for Sunday lunch. Would like to have been asked how I like my veg. Not everyone likes lighty cooked veg.

Lovely open air space, big enough to accommodate several people. The Sunday roast plate was huge, with a half chicken, several roast potatoes, chipotles and vegs. Unfortunately the chicken was undercooked making us wondering whether it was healthy to eat and the pudding (according to the taste) must have been cooked in burned (or old) oil. We had to book via the app but this was not a problem and the food arrived in less than 15 minutes despite the pub was full. All in all an ok place to go.
