When the food arrives it's very very tasty (can't recommend enough the teriyaki pork starter!!!) And the quantity of the food on the mains is more than enough, super big! I was thinking of ordering some dessert but I was super full, maybe another day!
There is a big option as well for cocktails, mocktails, wine and spirits.
The prices are good for the quality and quantity of the food. The waitresses are super nice as well. They also have kids menu which is very nice as well.
I will go back again!! Reservations are advised if you want to be sure you'll get a place, although I haven't reserved when I went and I've got a table!
Absolutely stunning location, hospitality 5 stars, members of staff are very attentative to details, food is devine and everything is freshly made. We tried a variety of foods and every dish tasted better than the previous one. 🙂🙂
The place is well looked after, very cozy, has a golf course where you can have a great time after your meal.
Highly recommending to visit this gastro pub. 👍
Food was good, decent portions and good variety. Service was also good, we had a brand new server but she managed to offer a good service. A couple of issues which could happen anywhere, but a main issue was our inquiry about the side dishes that come with the roast, because they hadn't arrived.
We were immediately told we would have to order them extra by one waitress, while another was bringing them to our table.
It is not the delay that bugged me, it is the attitude of immediately trying to add something to the bill without checking (menus clearly state that roasts come with side dishes).
Atmosphere is also good, a lot of people but not chaotic/dirty or loud.
A family was hogging the fireplace area with children scattering toys and sitting in three different tables (other than theirs), which is inconsiderate from the parents part. They seemed to have had some issue with billing.
Parking was easy, location convenient.
Only issue, is the prices...we paid 80 pounds for two people...
We got two of the two course roasts,
one dessert (to share), one large and one small coke, a coffee and one glass of wine..
Not in London but Sussex.. also there are no prices in the desserts, if someone wants to have extra.... Pricing is of course clearly indicated on menus so it was our choice to dine there.
