Small but quaint old pub in the centre of old Rye. Really friendly staff, great service, some nice beers and delicious burgers. We stopped in for a cheeky lunchtime pint and liked it so much we went back in the evening for dinner.

Wow the burgers are fantastic. We had a classic with cheese and a bbq bacon. The best we have had for a long time.
The place itself is really nice, we sat inside but they have a small area outside as well.

Wonderful historic pub with good food and drinks and indoor and outdoor seating. Fast and good service, reasonably priced, central location.

Toilets also small but clean, and just a few minute walk from Rye Station parking lot.

Oldest pub in Rye. Very cozy place with great food! Great gluten free options, even pizza if you want. I had the shrimps, which where great!

Welcoming and traditional pub that does not disappoint. Staff are excellent and helpful. The ales are brilliant and the atmosphere is always convivial. Haven't tried the food but it does looks like great fare. Difficult to find another pub in Rye that ticks so many boxes !

Had a late lunch here after long walk around the town. Delicious food - particularly daily specials! Warm and cosy atmosphere. Quiet music in background allows chatting comfortably. Great location. A bit pricey, but absolutely worth it.

We only popped in for a drink and this is apparently the oldest pub in Rye, so why not. We both had a pint of Ye Olde Bell, and it was a pretty decent pint of ale, nice and smooth. I love these old pubs, so much more character than the new trendy bars. As it is 600 yrs d, its not very big, roughly 10 tables

A really great little spot for lunch! Burgers, pizza or salad? It is all presented really well, good sized portions, fresh and tasty. The food came quickly too, with super friendly staff.
