The Railway Teddington

I have event planned at @railwayteddington in a few weeks so I came to check the venue and speak to the manger about event and arrangements and also booked a Sunday roast. Let me start with the staff, absolutely lovely and welcoming. The server recommend the ultimate roast for 4 of us which comes with all the trimmings. The ultimate roast coming with all the meats and majority of the trimmings. This was more than enough for 4 adults and some 🤣🤣. The quality of the meats are exceptional and cooked to perfection. All food cooked with quality ingredients and the tastes amazing. If your a Sunday roast lover @railwayteddington is must to try! @railwayteddington you get a massive 👍 from me. Can’t wait to come back!

Holy cow! By far the best roast dinner platter I've ever seen. Everything was sublime. Just look at it.... yes it really was as good as it looks. The warm Scotch egg. Wow. They really nailed that one! 20/10. Ger your bum on a seat here as quickly as you can for Sunday lunch. You will not regret it. And they do a vegetarian option.

We went for the first time few months ago invited from some dear friends in Teddington and it’s been already a 5 stars discovery. We came back yesterday to repeat the experience and it’s been just a confirmation. The atmosphere is welcoming, the menù is inviting, the food is delicious. Every dish is perfectly cooked graciously disposed and well served. Gluten free option available at request. The service is friendly, kind and available at all the time. The restaurant always tidy even in the most busy moment. The room upstairs is lovely and warm. Toilets always clean and tidy and the entire place is dog friendly as well.. What else we can ask??

Bold claim - best roast I've ever had. No messing around went for the ultimate share platter and every item whether meat or veg played its part. No passengers at this railway station.

Pictures don't do it justice, the meat was all slightly charred and perfectly seasoned on the outside but moist and full of flavour upon devouring.

All the veggie bits were delicious. The cauliflower cheese and cabbage were slightly creamier so complimeted perfectly with the savoury meat.

Special mention for the scotch egg, which I don't normally eat. Crispy outside, golden yolk and lots of meat in the middle.

The price is very fair for the quality and quantity. To be honest, been to plenty of restaurants lately where you're getting charged minimum a tenner for a small underwhelming plate and you're needing at least 8 before leaving unsatisfied. In comparison this was very good value and left hugely satisfied.

Wouldn't hesitate to go back. Friendly staff too.

There was nothing not to like. Staff were super friendly and helpful, the service and food was quick, and the Sunday Roast and pudding was perfect! There is a good selection of food, wines and beer, and no doubt anything else. We also loved the atmosphere of this pub. We'll be back..thank you!

The Sunday roast was excellent. We had the sharing platter which was more than enough for 4 we even took some of the meat home in a doggy bag. Service was very good, sound advice about choices and very friendly

We were here for the Sunday roast and it did not disappoint . Best Yorkshire pudding we’ve ever tasted - fluffy, bouncy and crispy around the edges - perfection. Staff was lovely and accommodating, creating a cosy and lively atmosphere.

A wonderful dinner this evening, just the two of us, nice spot in the corner.
The sea bass fillets were done perfectly, and the poached chicken with the Italian sausage tortelloni was just simply superb, such great flavour!
Cheeseboard was a great portion, maybe could have done with a couple more crackers (or dare I say it, less cheese!?), perhaps I should have just asked?!
Chocolate brownie…divine…my better half had to box half of it up to bring home, and the ice cream equally delicious.
Topped off with a couple of very decent pints and a fairly small (but more than adequate) wine list with enough to suit all needs - including a good selection by the glass.
All in all, a total recommend on all fronts!
