Really good food, brilliant staff- Russ and Holly hospitality is just outstanding . Such a lovely pub.

We went about 8 months ago probably before the new owners, a bit pricey and as others mentioned, just a few chips which isn’t very filling. The other food was nice but just the same problem really, the staff were quite friendly and when we ordered dessert, the man in there said, well I hope you’ll be able to manage it, well as you can see from the photos, the dessert can fit into the palm of your hand, 2 mouthfuls and you’re done!! I probably would go again if the menu was updated with bigger portions. IMO no restaurants should put a few chips in baskets or pad everything out by using loads of rocket salad.

Visited last Saturday for a light lunch. The pub was busy on the front Square. There were options inside and down the side of the courtyard. We chose the courtyard. Although pleasant enough, there is an annoying generator or cooking fan or similar, that makes one hell of a noise, which is not good if you wear hearing aids. The food, we felt was rather pricey for what it was. The portion of chips served in a little metal basket, was too small.
The staff were very friendly and the beer was good. I wouldn't be in a hurry to eat there again, but it is pleasant enough for a quick drink or two.🍺

Lovely traditional pub in town with outdoor seating to watch the world go by. Friendly staff, reasonably priced food and drink. Took my daughter and dog, both were welcome.

The personnel were very friendly and although we arrived early, they were really accommodating. Would definitely recommend trying this pub!!

Nice and friendly staff. Decent selection of beer. But somehow lacked the charm of a small town pub that you’d expect. Definitely worth a visit however!

Had a meal with the Children's Society (07/12/22) never been in before food and service was excellent the staff couldn't have been more helpful definitely will be back again.
