An amazing experience from start to finish. Really enjoyable and memorable meal. Wonderful food and great service. Lovely little touches which made a special occasion even more special. Highly recommended.

An amazing meal in a great setting. Very laid back & easygoing. The fact you can have a meal of this standard with your dog under the table eating the treats they supplied makes this a winner for me!

We came for the set menu on a Thursday lunch and the food was really spectacular. Great value as well I thought, £25 for 3 fantastic course, £27.50 if you want all 4. The pork cheek pasta was particularly good, this place knows it’s pig!

We arrived late at our own fault so were made to order at the door upon arrival. Felt slightly rushed considering we could at least have been sat and asked to order within 5 minutes of sitting.

It was my birthday and It was nice to have a card signed by the staff and birthday plate, was also sweet as staff were taking care of us well once we were sat.

However, we ordered a t bone steak to share and it was thoroughly disappointing. In all aspects apart from size. The meat portion was massive but the steak came out pretty lukewarm and dried up very quickly thereafter. Both the chips and salad that accompany the steak were smothered in parmigiana again they were nice but everything tasted like parmigiana.

The sauce that came was stone cold which didn’t help as the steak was cold anyway. The staff are lovely but because the restaurant is so intimate it feels like a massive fuss to complain so we just carried on.

It was fine but considering it’s supposed to be the best pub in the UK I have had better dinners at similar places. Will go back especially as not much choice in area but defo not for the steak- Sunday lunch there has been good before.

It actually upsets me having to write this - as The Unruly Pig, being a staple for our friends and families special days over the years. Really disappointed us this visit…

We came and ordered starters, mains and dessert. The food was honestly, still very very good and excellent quality. The service however, left much to be desired.

Firstly - the table we sat at was wet and dirty, my mum had to ask to clean it. Secondly, the wait for food was a good 20 mins for the starter, then a further 40-50 mins for the mains. In that time, not one person came to check on our table! They were definitely not short staffed either. Watching as the waiters darted around we had to ask, each time to be served… whether that was to order our food, order a drink or anything.

The staff quite honestly just seemed really young and inexperienced… there’s a way to make your customers feel. And honestly, after this visit we fear this might be our last!

It was also my mums birthday, and although we put it in the notes to book… we didn’t get any acknowledgment, whatsoever… which again, was not an expectation as it had been done previously.

Having had previously, incredible experiences - I’m honestly gutted to be writing this. Also, the manager was so busy chatting to the other staff that I didn’t even get a chance to talk and explain our experience.

Again, incredible food… horrible and uncomfortable experience with the service.

Food was very delicious and well seasoned. My partner and I are both pescatarian and although there were definitely more meat options on the menu, we thought there was enough for us to choose from. Service was friendly and attentive. Drinks - delicious. There was a driver’s drink section on the menu which I thought was a nice touch. Dog friendly. Free parking available. Although I thought it was overpriced, I would definitely recommend.

Very welcoming and friendly team. Great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Limited vegetarian/vegan menu but the food was delicious - one of the best meals I've ever had. Would love to see these options expanded in the future. The atmosphere was also good and the setting felt cosy and private.

We had a lovely meal and evening. The food was well seasoned and very well cooked. The service was attentive and friendly. Dog friendly. The focaccia was the only disappointing dish. The main issue (that other reviewers have mentioned) is the price. Almost everything is overpriced (and I live in London).
