Beautiful food and great service. Lots of attention to detail, can't recommend highly enough. We were a party of 7 and pretty much had everything from menu between us! To top it all, fantastic coffee.

Can I just say a massive thank you for having us to celebrate my mums 50th birthday meal. The staff were lovely and we all had lovely starters, mains and desserts. Thank you also for putting the candles into mums dessert/doing the plate decoration. We were the last table left in the pub until quite late and at no point did we feel rushed to leave, and all the staff came out to sing Happy Birthday to mum too which was lovely. This is the second time we’ve ate at The Kingston Inn, several of the party gusts go there quite a bit and we’ve never had a bad meal. Highly recommend!

Visited with my wife for her Birthday. Incidentally the first quite night out we had had for months. So nice to see a proper country pub busy mid week, offering a warm welcome to those known and those totally new. Food was excellent, I was genuinely expecting relatively simple tasty fayre but it honestly delivered well and beyond. We shared calamari to start and I had venison for a main. Dessert had to be all of the ice cream and somehow we found space for a sticky toffee pudding too. Will return for sure and next time I’ll remember to take photos.

Food was excellent, quality not quantity. Early lunchtime, pub was a bit cool. Only gripe was the lack of non-alcoholic drinks and decaffeinated coffee.

Wonderful setting, friendly service & delicious food. Would highly recommend a visit.

The venison and chocolate bavarois were among the best meals I have ever eaten at a restaurant.
Highly recommend going out of your way to try the food here!
