Great service! Food was a bit slow but it was busy and they had a new chef in do I imagine things will only get faster. Really friendly staff and lovely drinks.

Visited at lunchtime. Excellent service. Polite staff. Great food. Better still, reasonable price for somewhere that looks 'expensive'. A country restaurant I'm happy to recommend!

Lovely pub. Decor was stylish and the drinks were very reasonable. Staff were friendly. However the main thing is the food. The food is amazing. Had a messy Berger and it was honestly the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The beef dripping gravy was to die for.

Went for a Sunday lunch on the 27th Nov 22’ with some friends. We had good service, and the food was delicious! The only thing was that they forgot to bring out some of the extras that we paid for that came with our meals but other than that, it was very good.

We arrived at the pub and waited to be seated, whilst we were acknowledged soon after arrival by a member of staff it was a further 5 minutes before anyone came across to take us to our seat. That may not sound a lot but when you're just standing in a pub, it feels like like an awfully long time.

Once we were seated the service was very good and our waiter very attentive.

The food was very good, although it could have been hotter.

We are coming for Christmas Dinner and hope that the little niggles are ironed out by then but we are looking forward to it.

We came during a midweek evening whilst it was fairly quiet. We had plenty of choice so chose to sit by the log fire. Food was really nice, staff were friendly and chatty. All round a really nice experience here.

Had a lovely family meal 6 of us before the England game. Service was good, menu was fine. Very nicely furnished with some booths large enough for 6 adults. My husband and both had the crab and prawn fishcakes. We both commented on how tasty and moist they were. The chicken escalope was also very good.
