Lovely place. Great and super attentive service. The best dish by far were the gnocchi. Excellent texture and flavour. The habanero sauce that came with the scotch egg was delicious. I was not a huge fan of my main, the pork cheeks. The cheeks themselves were very tender. The butter beans were alright but the sauce was not right. Not sure what it was but the flavour was too bitter, almost burnt. I did not eat them. Also the size of the dish was more of a started than a main. The lemon sorbet was very refreshing.

Outstanding pub! Excellent food and very friendly staff. We couldn't be happier! The beer and liquor selection is extensive enough to provide choices but not overwhelming. Adam and G were super helpful and recommended the perfect drinks. There was another guy who we didn't catch the name of but he was also awesome.

We will most certainly be back 😍

Another lovely evening at Dylan’s. We ordered burrata and duck croquet for the stater and duck leg and pork for main.
Service was perfect like always, lovely fresh food! Highly recommended!

A very nice spontaneous lunch at Dylans. We had various friends mention the food was fantastic and we were not let down. Scotch egg and sourdough for starter, the best scotch egg I have ever had, then fish and chips for two. The fish was amazing. A fantastic meal. We will be returning for a Sunday roast as this is supposed to be the best is St Albans.

Friendly staff, lovely interior. Good champagne! Didn't try the food just went for drinks.
Small inside and can imagine when it gets packed it's standing room only.
Beautiful decor and loved the hops, flowers and decor around the bar area and the quirky creatures. Good vibe.

Online access patchy - it's an old building with thick walls, so got used to it.

George St not pedestrianised anymore but it was an ideal evening for an al fresco experience. 28C in July!

Lovely food, cozy atmosphere. I’ve been there with my girlfriend for dinner, we ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, bread and a dessert to share

The scotch egg was perfectly cooked and it was full of flavour. Burrata was also surprisingly good, I really liked the balance between the chestnut, the mandarin and the seasoning.

The mains were also amazing - the onglet was delicious as well as the ox cheek.

Also the bread was a delight - the smell was great, the taste was even better.

Really attractive historic pub; now most definitely a gastropub. The front bar area is quite small but very well appointed. Slightly eclectic decor and lovely eclectic staff add to its charm. Very popular, so you may struggle to find a seat at busy times. Good choice of drinks and food is available in this bar area.

Haven’t eaten in the restaurant since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic but most of the original staff remain, so I assume that it’s still excellent.

Highly recommended.

My business partner and good friend raves about Dylans as his favourite local, so he brought me here to see for myself, and I have to agree! Great gastro pub with what I've been told is an ever changing selection of guest draft craft beers. We had a few relaxed pints on the window stools, and some "bar snacks". Well worth coming to!
