This Tavern is fantastic, such a great atmosphere, service and food! We had a tasty South African dinner here and left feeling very happy and satisfied. Excellent location too. Thanks to the team that looked after us. We will definitely be back with all our friends and family. Highly recommend.

I cane at 6pm on a Saturday and all ales and several of their beers were not working. Very poor selection and very expensive. Staff said well it’s a Saturday, our beers sell out but 6/11 pumps feels like quite a big sell off for an average Saturday!

Returned here recently and was very even more impressed.

Our bartender was Martha, who wowed us with her excellent mixology , professionalism and kindness.

There was a strange orangey aroma near the till/counting robot thing, so I docked one point off the atmosphere.

After having been turned away from the Gardeners up the road by cold and disinterested staff who clearly wanted to go home my friends and I arrived at the Park Tavern. Wow, Adrian was immediately welcoming and the vibe intoxicating. We ordered our drinks, one of which was not quite right but was immediately rectified without any fuss, and enjoyed the rest of our evening. Lovely place.

Good pub with a little bit of a South African vibe. Nicely decorated with a bar space and separate dining room. Service was slow. Good outside drinking space for the summer months.

A nice reminder of home 🇿🇦 Great pub that serves South African braai food. The meat is very tender and well seasoned. The braaibroodjies are always a treat and sometimes sell out so best to order early! They also sell nice South African wine and springbokkie shots. All orders can be made on the app or with the waiters, who are very friendly and helpful. The pub does get busy on match days which leads to long waiting times but worth the wait.

Staff was lovely and accommodating, however service was a little slow.
Tbone was overcooked and flavourless and chips overcooked and very oily.
The staff kindly gave us another one, it was better but still flavourless.
Sausage was also dry and the sweet potato cheese was more a dessert than a side.

Excellent Boerewors. Loved the rub on the Sheep Chops. Lovely big garden to relax in.
Would really like to see some Potjies on the menu though.
