Lovely food, pie and chips amazing
Great to see it back open.
Perhaps could do with another veggie option on the main menu? Only two choices on the day for our veggie guest but the halloumi fajitas she said were lovely (& huge)

We noticed that the pub had reopened and being reasonably local, we decided to stop for lunch. The place is warm and cosy with plenty of tables. Two fireplaces and nice decor. The menu has a good selection to suit most. A young couple have taken on this pub and restaurant. We wish them all the best. It was busy which was nice to see. I recommend this place for quality food and warm welcome.

Chris ate brie, bacon and chilli jam ciabata and I had the jumbo fish finger ciabata with lashings of tartar sauce. The food was hot as was the plates. The side salad was a good quality there was plenty. It was topped with home made honey mustard dressing which was delicious. The bacon was very good, from Owen Taylor, so proper bacon.

Clean place, loos, glasses, cutlery, and plates.

A small bar but well stocked including beers and ciders.

Great value! We will eat there again.

I broke down on way back from an hospital appointment and managed to get on car park. Chef came out to try help which was decent of the guy and no one complained about me being on the car park waited for RAC. Seemed a nice village pub and popular with locals and will go there to try food in future and will give an update.

Very cosy pub. Had a starter and main, which were both very delicious and big portions. The dessert menu looked good, but I was to full for dessert!
Good prices. Friendly staff. Nicely decorated and cosy pub!

First visit since the Spread Eagle reopened. The food was excellent. Great service with a warm welcome. Definitely retuning soon and thoroughly recommend.

Superb food, bloody great chef, service impeccable with well mannered servers island great banter with the land lady, can't fault it

Reopened last week, good honest pub vibe food was great beer was excellent will be back.
