We were looking for a roast, or roast experience from the cotswold. We tried 1 place whilst in Bourton on the water at 3.45pm which had stopped serving food....ok being from London found that out of the ordinary but again were from londond so things are not going to be the same. Still though that was a bit early, and so stepped in Langdon, serving roast as long as they have them to serve. Food was tasty, filling and varied. I had the trio roast and the pork was lovely, beef was a little tough but the chicken was juicy and the gravy was 👏 brilliant. Service was nice aswell so would highly recommend whilst in Cheltenham checking this place out.

I've been going to the Langton for about 12 years as it used to be my local. The service has always been very good and the place itself is always comfy and clean. Dogs are allowed in the bar and the beer garden, the open fire in the winter is just lovely and they have ample parking. They offer a good range of drinks including non alcoholic ones - the passion soda is refreshing on a warm day.

Over the years the food has been a bit on and off. I've had a couple of cold meals and the odd over cooked one too. However, since returning about 6 months ago, every meal I've had here has been excellent. The Sunday roasts are fantastic - good portion size and nicely cooked pork - the sticky toffee pudding is one of the best I've tasted and yesterday, I enjoyed the tempura battered ciabatta sandwich with fries. It's always busy but never so that you can't get a decent table. I'd recommend it for a nice lunch with family or friends.

An amazing find! Food was excellent and such good value. The bao bun was the best I have ever had and my dessert was the best I had had in a long time. Mains were great too and my wife couldn’t stop talking about her dessert as well. Lovely varied menu and drinks selection. Dealt with an allergy no problem. Great service and a really nice venue. We were talking about how we wish this was just down the road from us. Spot on for celebrations.

Been a few years since last visit, but happy to say service, food quality, portion size and cost were very good. The 'nourish bowl' salad was delicious and easily shared between 2 (vegan friendly). Hope to return before seasonal menu change!

We called here for my husbands birthday as he loves a Sunday roast and this place was recommended to us. We both agreed it was the best roast we had ever tasted. It was superb and we also had the summer Berry crumble for dessert which was also superb. We came from Wales to Cheltenham for the weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday and we are so happy to have come to The Langton. If only we lived closer we would definitely come here every week for a roast, but we both agree that we will be coming back to have another roast dinner soon. Hats off to the chef for an amazing meal and the staff for the warm welcome and a first class experience. Would highly recommend, massive thumbs up 👍🏻👌👌 Diolch enfawr, Vanessa a Emrys 👌😋🥰

Located off London road, this is a really nice pub for its ambience and location, especially the outdoor area. The pub is also dog friendly so you can bring your dog indoors (the constraint being that you only get seated near the bar area). Sadly, this is where the food and drink didn't meet expectations. The rose and cucumber G&T was so bitter and was undrinkable. We asked for another drink which the person serving us was happy to replace but didn't take it off the bill. I had the Sunday trio roasts and it didn't taste good for what it was worth (£18). The dark forest bomb was good.

Bottom line: good location with great ambience. Dog friendly too! Food isn't that great for the price but do try it for yourself and be the judge of this place.
