Warm welcome, cosy bar area. Large dining area with outside seating over looking the river which I imagine is great on a fine day.
Food was excellent, not your usual pub grub. Recommend the cheesecake!!

The best food I've had in Wales! We went on a quiet Friday lunchtime so the owner was really attentive to us, we had a beautiful table that overlooked the river but the entire venue was gorgeous. I had the Glamorgan sausage which was absolutely incredible: delicious food and very generous portion sizes. You pay a bit more here but its well worth it.

Sadly not a great experience for lunch, went with friends and as we all work within the hospitality industry and fully understand the pressures that come with it. Unfortunately there is no excuse for serving sub standard food but charging top price. My friends opted for the burgers, for £17 each I would have thought that fresh chips would come as standard, the chips served had been fried several times so only thing remaining was greasy hollow tubes. The coleslaw was clearly left out in the hot kitchen I can only assume and was inedible. We did express our disappointment and was given a discount on the final bill which was appreciated. Maybe the chef was having a bad day but when charging high end prices the food really needs to reflect this . Sadly today was a very big let down . Beautiful location and the staff member who served us was very polite .

I visited alone with two dogs. The views are wonderful, the service excellent - professional, friendly, unobtrusive - and I was made very welcome. A really good vegetarian roast - if the chef is reading this I’d love the recipe for your mushroom and chestnut wellington please!

Stunning meal in a perfect location right on the river. Service was excellent and super friendly, recommending local places and genuinely was interested in what bought us to the area. Food was superb, my other half had the burger which was mega juicy and I had the sea bass which was cooked perfectly and super tasty!

Genuinely one of the nicest meals we've had in a long time. The service was top notch with just the right amount of attention!!! The food was out of this world. The Roast Salmon with seafood risotto was beautiful and my partner loved his burger. Local ingredients, amazing river views, what is not to love!
