Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

Nursing staff and consultants were exceptional. Totally professional. The hospital is good and clean, but does rather show being somewhat careworn.
Two years later and I returned for a CT scan. Absolutely fantastic staff, who are working incredibly hard in testing circumstances.
Just hope the result is going to be as good as my experience of the hospital.
Back to my "second home" again. Its a great hospital if you know your way around, sadly I do! 😥
Plentiful car parks, and there is plenty of signage to help you around the rather sprawling site. And if you do get lost, the hospital has some really wonderful volunteers that will point you the right way. They have a desk near to the out patients entrance, next to Costa Coffee. I think that they are also at the Tower Entrance.

Everyone that cared for me during my time in hospital from the paramedics, to A&E & Gynaecology doctors & nurses were all amazing. I honestly can’t thank them enough. The NHS is brilliant and I’ll be forever grateful.

Excellant service, had a broken hip. ED very busy, but the care excellent. Ortho surgeon came and explained, what was going to happen. Operation done, sent to ward, once again excellent care. Could not fault any thing.

The staff are mostly always lovely. Unfortunately the cleaning can be a little hit and miss. In the outpatients today and the same stain is here on the carpet since June!

Absolutely shocking! Disgraceful behaviour from multiple members of staff, they honestly don't care if someone lives or dies just that they get people out so they aren't their problem anymore, if you don't care about people and you're too lazy to do the simplest of things then don't work in a hospital!!!

Absolutely great staff! The throat, ear and mouth team in particular were amazing! Saw 2 doctors who couldn't be more helpful! Was diagnosed and at ease in an hour, and ready to leave after treatment! Can't rate the service highly enough! They were absolutely amazing! 5stars

It is never easy reviewing a place you don't use by choice like a shop or car dealer. However even with Government funding being stretched more than ever before the A&E surgeons saved my life after getting a meat bolus deep in my osphicgus. I could not breathe and thought it was the end all because I didn't chew enough. Do I enjoy Gloucester hospital? No way! But I am grateful to the staff that saved me who I don't even know and am unable to thank. These invisible heroes choose people over personal profit

Tried to get an audiology appointment. Apparently I missed the previous one but never received the appointment confirmation. I asked them to email me next time instead but they refuse to use email!

Very archaic and disorganised. Can't believe tax payer money is being wasted on this poor excuse for an organisation. Needs shutting down and starting again!
