My first visit back after my girls being born there years ago. The hospital has grown larger but still retains a community feel. In my interactions with staff I found them friendly and helpful.

I’ve been to the early pregnancy unit twice and I just cannot fault the amazing service and staff. The reception staff, the nurses and midwives are just phenomenal. They treat you with the utmost care and kindness. They are patient and I’ve never felt dismissed or rushed!

It’s a walk in clinic but the wait to be seen is not that long and they have a great system in place. If you are in your early pregnancy stage with some concerns- the St George maternity department will take care of you. Their maternity helpline is a godsend and I just cannot thank the staff enough!

The treatment I received was as if I was some big VIP in a private hospital; I was regularly seen by a doctor, as well as by the Registrar and the nurse practitioners interacted with me every day- they were all VERY impressive. The staff on Richmond ward were knowledgeable and they were all a very happy working team- THAT REALLY STOOD OUT.

They listened very carefully to my responses, and there was great empathy and the details of application of my taking antibiotics and applying creams etc during and after my care in the ward was very carefully explained to me, and I was given clear written instructions.

Always amazes me the people who complain about the services but sit on the bottoms come general election date. Your vote could have made a difference over the past 12 years of draining and robbing the NHS service of the money it required to survive. The staff here work hard, yes there may be the odd one who has burn out but the majority I have seen work bloody hard. My father has had 6 admittances this year due to getting old and falling over often. The rudeness of patients is shameful and ignorant. I have sat with my father in excess of 7 hours but I had no option. I have no blinkers on when it comes to wait times as I see it on the news daily. I am sick of people who abuse the wrong people and go back and vote Tory. Well you deserve to wait! You are a part of the problem why staff leave, why staff have mental exhaustion, why waiting times are long and (might have gone to their GP instead) Oh yes the Tories have stuffed that up too!. Even the security guards are helpful, the Porters have a jolliness about them and the cleaning staff were polite and really careful around my dad. They are very short staffed and can do with volunteers and more staff....which is controlled ultimately by .......The Tories

I have had a kidney transplant here and I can honestly say that the after care is fantastic. The staff are just very caring, kind and always there if you need them. The surgeons, doctors and nurses keep in contact weekly and always ask how your feeling, they also ring you at home. I can't praise them enough, thank you.

I've had COVID and the GP sent me to the a&e Friday night to do some tests as a precaution before the weekend.
Barring the waiting time which was about 3 hours overall, everyone was amazing and I can't praise the staff enough. From the nurse screening the first queue to the receptionist booking me in, the medical assistant, the radiographer who did my x-ray and finally the doctor I spoke to, everyone was polite, thoughtful, considerate, compassionate, calm and so organised. The way they treat everyone is fantastic and their patience is remarkable. All my tests turned out clear so all good and I really wanted to share my experience at this hospital's a&e and wanted people to know it was excellent.
Congratulations to all staff for being so good at what you do and a massive thank you for looking after me! 🙂

I was happy with my experience at the chest and oncology departments. Staff were friendly and efficient and made me feel comfortable. Dr Helen Meredith and Dr Virginia Lam were compassionate and sensitive and willing to answer my questions in detail. I have now transferred to the Royal Marsden London but will remember my outpatient experience at St George’s as a pleasurable one.

Wonderful experience overnight on Nye Bevan Unit over Xmas period. All nursing staff were extremely professional and caring. Doctors and surgeons who assessed my condition were thorough and informative, and very reassuring. Surgeon who performed minor surgery was excellent. Catering staff were 1st class. All medical staff educated me very well on aftercare, post - surgery. I could not have been in any better hands ....period
