Staff very warm and friendly. Hospital is a maze and original. Rare to see the authentic architecture of the building. Wet clean. Beautiful. I try the canteen is good too

Lovely lady showed me the canteen which was below standard although canteen staff were very good compared to the auxiliaries I had already come across

Intake process for day surgery was confusing and disorganised. No information given to patients who were unaware of what was happening.

Staff couldn’t be bothered to wait the full 10 mins for covid test results. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Took 20 mins to find a toilet that wasn’t locked behind a department door.

Wouldn’t want to be an inpatient here, level of patient care and patient interaction was unevident.

This review is solely regarding the xray phone service and making an appointment. Rang 3x for around 45 minutes each time only to be cut off. Eventually had to drive to the hospital to make my mum an appointment. Unbelievably bad service. What do the disabled do?

Went to the urgent care centre for a deep cut on my 4 year old child's head. Right from the first call, the staff were excellent. So helpful, informative and kind. We were seen before our appointment time and she was patched up perfectly within 15 mins. Jan was so good with her and her calm and kind nature made everything so easy. Thank you so much. You are all brilliant.

Hard to review in many ways, it's nicer and newer looking than its twin Hillingdon, but I am sure the levels of care and expertise are high in both locations.. yes let's also support the nurses in their industrial action, clapping gets you nothing, let's pay up, by way of a well earned thank you!

Car park, fairly cheap £1.80 per hour install the pay by phone app before you go. You can pay by card and cash but the app is so much quicker.

Fairly well serviced by buses too...

The "urgent care nurse practitioner service" is just outstanding at Mount Vernon. Phoned 11am after son suffered a football accident the day before as knee was swelling up more, got an appointment for 12.15, parked up for £1.70(not too bad for a hospital!), found clinic at the back and in & seen by 12.30. Very thorough examination, sent on for x-ray, back and fully debriefed and dispensed with helpful info sheet on MCL injury treatment. The health professional (nurse?) answered questions & totally reassured us. Very quiet waiting areas, all the staff working hard and helping people. Out within 2 hours. In these days of all services being a total nightmare compared to a few years ago, especially anything to do with the NHS - this was just outstanding & totally unexpected. Thank you & well done to everyone!

Took mum to MVH for minor injuries unit, it's closed, have got a nurse practitioner clinic via 111 only. Would advise to check before arriving (wish I had) great unit. On the plus side managed to park in disabled bay and mum visited the charity shops (bookshops too) and comfort shop.

My father has been receiving exceptional treatment here for 2 years. Staff are superb, facilities world class. We have no complaints.
