My family keeps on getting registered with terrible GPs here, they never listen to what we have to say, our symptoms are dismissed or ignored completely. Misdiagnosed problems every time, the GPs simply do not care about my families well-being at all. The only saving grace is that all the other staff are competent.

Had an appointment for 11am, got there about 20 minutes early. Waited until 11am, people coming and going. 11:10 I went to check if I was booked in. Yep all good. I waited until 11:30. Went back to reception. Apparently the nurse was still busy.

Bye.... apologize? Nope nothing. What a joke!
Terrible surgery!

This used to be a great practice and it wasn't long ago I was singing their praises to others, however they are now no different to all the other below average practices around. I needed a letter of medical evidence to prove to my income protection that I have been ill and was told that this isn't possible. My income protection will only accept my claim with a GP letter which is fair enough to prevent false claims.

The receptionist was fairly dismissive and pretty much asked me to hang up 'because it's Monday morning and I'm busy'. I was only offered the chance to call again specifically on a Wednesday as 'my' GP works on that day - I was not allowed to see any other GPs despite never having seen this GP in the past 5 years. The system is a shambles and this practice is now clearly falling into the black hole that is NHS primary care.

I work in healthcare too and I'd be ashamed if this is how my patients were treated.

Called at 4.40pm. Got a call back from Dr at 5.20! Fantastic service! Got Perscription that eve from ASDA. Just what we needed when we had a poorly little girl

Best drs we've ever had. Dr Gregg was brilliant. We now have Dr Walls who is the best drs I've ever had! Kind, takes you seriously, has time to listen. These days it's a phone call and then they arranged to see you if they need to which I think is good. They speak to more people this way and weed out minor issues.
Reception staff are good too. Don't try to diagnosis you, or ask too much personal info and not pushy like some practises.

Worst doctors you can find, impossible to speak to a doctor and they disregard patient mental health and further their anxieties with ignorance over phonecalls and incomprehensible voicemails despite prior complaints. After telling them to remove me 3 times since they're in breach of the Equality Act and committing Medical Negligence they have now removed me but claimed they chose to in the letter by the NHS despite proof I told them to do so 3 times... Classic, at least people know exactly what you do to people and try to cause harm and use the pandemic as an excuse for neglect :)

This has been our family doctors for over 30 years, recently the practice was sold and changed ownership since which the level of service has depreciated rapidly.
My mum has had covid, probably currently suffering with pneumonia following on and is on antibiotics but crawling around barely coping at all but not one to moan and usually soldiers on, I’ve not seen her so ill since she was hospitalised with pneumonia on a holiday in Spain many years ago.
She has been fobbed off by a desk clerk for 2 days telling her to call back tomorrow at 8am call back at lunch for emergency appointment, oh sorry no energy appointments, they’ve all gone......call back tomorrow at 8am.
Never has it been the case that it was such a chore to see Dr Torode. Absolute disgrace and just another sign of a declining health service system.
Utterly disgusting!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about this practice. We have been registered there for 6 years now and every appointment has been easy to arrange (often same day even if not urgent) and effective. Dr Hale is superb. He listens and offers pragmatic advice. We were particularly happy with the way he treated our elderly grandmother- he didn't give up on her where her previous surgery in Southsea had said there was nothing more they could do for her. At one point, we were speaking daily as her condition deteriorated- I think that is fairly unique these days.
