You will never get the change to make an appointment to see the doctor, when I called to make an appointment for my son, the lady in there told me that I should go to buy medicine from pharmacy for my 12 years old son, and when I went to the pharmacist , she told me they won't recommed any medication for children and I should take my kid to the doctor. How professional .LOL. Don't undestand why so many good comments.

reply to you:
The problem is my kid is only 12 years . He is a child. Even the pharmacist told us they won't recommed any medication for children and should go to see the doctor before taking any medication, if he is an adult I understand but he is a kid. and you as a doctor suggested us to give the medicine for a child without consult to a doctor. I know you proberly busy but come on, is a child. Really dont understand UK doctor .

Registered- deRegistered- & Re Registered again! Definitely Colour of your skin matters here!
I had the same issue on registration. Initially was told I could register for 3 months temporarily if I wished to, then fully register when I was ready (as I was new in town & I had not taken in any proof of address). As I was Not well and needed to see a Dr I agreed. Next thing On booking for an appointment an older woman (who initially advised that I needed proof of addy) came to help the young lovely lady assisting me & who also had told me there was an appointment on that very day, but she (older lady) kept on saying no I don’t want her to see this Dr ….no I don’t want her to see this one….even when the young girl kept showing her available spaces. It was a Monday next thing she says is “ok I have Saturday” I was shocked and asked what happened to the other appointments then she told me they were for emergencies only. I assured her it was an emergency then 🤦🏾‍♀️I was asked to call in first thing next morning if it was. Gutted I left after 30 or so minutes of going back and forth. Booked next morning over the phone and was seen by a Dr that day, bloods taken following day then saw Dr again after the bloods, scan was “supposedly” booked. After almost 4 weeks pain came bk & I called in to book dr & also questioned about scan delay 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️To my surprise I was not even registered anymore was told my registration was only 15days and it had expired, secondly the “scan” I waited for all month was never booked at all. The frustration and the anger of waiting. I had to re register again In order to be seen and attended to and rebook the scan. No one apologised except for the Dr and the reception staff actually laughed when I tried to ask how you can be registered 15days only …even the dr was shocked and puzzled why that had happened. This was tiring, frustrating and unfair for someone who is not well, anticipating results and eager to get whatever that was wrong with me rectified. Those older women do not need to work there, they lack empathy and are just not used to seeing people of colour. First day I walked in there I told my partner that the older lady didn’t want me to register, but he reassured me thinking maybe she was just having a bad day…to say I was not surprised when I found out she only registered me for 15days is an understatement. She didn’t even try to hide her disgust or pretend to be polite. Even after all that discovered I didn’t even need proof of address to register in the first place. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ Looking for a better surgery at the moment 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

I cannot commend all the staff at the surgery highly enough for their unwavering commitment and care during the Covid pandemic and I most certainly benefited from this. They also returned to face to face appointments far quicker than many other surgeries. I have never had cause for complaint and the doctors & nurses have always been very thorough, caring and professional.

Yo! So I attended the surgery to have my ear syringed (long overdue) and was a bit embarrassed can't lie. But nurse Simone apart from being 100% professional and efficient (As I've come to expect from all NHS staff) really put me at ease. She even recognised my t-shirt logo correctly as Aphex Twin. Real deal

Today was my second dose of a vaccine with nurse Helen Skidmore and I wanted to leave a review to this lady... so professional, so nice, friendly... I didn't even feel the needle, it was all so subtle that I didn't even notice! I wish all heath professionals were as good as you are, it's crystal clear that you love what you do and you are absolutely brilliant at it. Thank you so much, nurse Skidmore.

I have only had good experiences with this surgery, they are doing it right. They genuinely care about people and provide a brilliant service. Whether you're booking an appointment or have an enquiry, they really know what they're doing and strive to find a solution for you. Clinical staff are also very engaging, informative and patient, which is a miracle given how much stress and pressure the NHS is under.

Special thank you to the lady I spoke with today (23/12/2022 10am) on the enquiries line who was patient, kind and empathic. She put my mind at ease and was very helpful. Very much appreciated.
