It's taken 4 days and umpteen phone calls to even speak to anyone. Then I get told there are no appointments available for 28 days and the (only) person making appointments after 28 dayis on leave. This appointment was a follow up appointment to assess whether my wife needs a biopsy of a possible Cancer. This is the sorry state of St Edwards Medical Centre.

Horrendous, If I could give a minus star I would, I dont understand how they have not been shut down for malpractice and negligence. You may as well not have a GP with this practice as its next to impossible to schedule an appointment. 3 Million sick people on waiting lists and its because of practices like this not giving a toss about the health of the public. Ill be writing a letter to my local MP to seriously consider a review of this place.

It's very difficult to make appointments to see the doctor if necessary.Telephone call service is owfull, very difficult to get through before half an hour to 45min waiting.
Dr Hussain is a very good Doctor.
Reception service is not good enough, people are there looks like they are enjoying holiday.
Repeat prescriptions is another issue, it's take long time to get Repeat prescriptions and always found some medicines are missing.

I have been treated very well by doctors and receptionist at this surgery informing them of any changes in your circumstances is a must as its busy surgery. It's best to plan oppointment in advance if possible. Emergency are on a fist come first seen but if your in breathing or life or death Emergency take priority. Information is the key. As you can injury to my left leg needs ramp for back door as the one I've been give is inadequate. It's to short needs 5ft loog. Any help please Mr James Harris

I cannot speak for the reviews below or the history of the surgery, however I can speak for my own experiences . This gp surgery have been nothing short of exceptional for my son and I. ALL doctors , nurses and members of staff I have dealt with, treat me with the upmost respect and always deal with my problems adequately (believe me I have a lot of them) the patience shown by receptionists and Dr's are commendable because im sure I phone them more than I phone my friends, which i understand, can become an annoyance.
Absolutely Fantastic surgery . Thank you ALL very much for your constant help and for remaining consistent.

GPs and Nurses here are lovely, so I don’t give 2 stars for that. Issue finding at the moment is I think logistically and operationally St Edwards Medical Centre are very frustrating.

Currently waiting for phone call from the Medical Centre and was given a time, although am told constantly that ‘we don’t give phone call times out’. Which makes no sense. This is very frustrating as this has pulled me from my work, as I have made myself available at the time given to me, but have been waiting over an hour. Surely if given a time it would be the same as if I had an appointment at the doctors.

It is difficult speaking to some of the team on the phone when complaining - but this doesn’t work. So think someone needs to come in and show how it should be run if doing a mixture of phone calls and in house appointments. I don’t think they are behind this idea by the sound of it.

A massive shout out to Nurse Jackie, absolute star and very very helpful. A great asset to the surgery. Nurse Jackie is very kind, and you feel at ease due to her positivity and smile.
