Got an appointment on a busy morning in 8 minutes. Very good. Also got a phone consultation the same day with a doctor also excellent. X Ray arranged 1 day later and results texted to me. Outstanding service well done all at Castlegate.

Used the online consultation for the first time. Very easy. Posted a pic to them, got a diagnosis and a prescription which was delivered through the letterbox that evening. Really great service. Thanks

Absolutely shambles, by far the worst GP practice I have ever had to deal with and doctor Hutton is the most uncaring useless doctor I’ve ever dealt with.

Doctors don't always take you seriously.
If you've got a problem that you want to be diagnosed or treated, the doctors try to make it out to be not that big a deal when it is.
This Surgery is also known to ignore mental health issues and symptoms that could point to a mental disorder. They are known to write it off as "humans are emotional beings" and have the old way of thinking about mental health like thinking that the patient is just being "silly" or "trying to get attention" or "just doing it to [him/herself]". I am concerned about the attitude. Pure lack of understanding.
If they do take you seriously, you'll be bounced around for a year or so with no results.

After an uncomfortable weekend with an infection l rang the surgery 8am Mon and despite being 14 in the queue spoke to reception within a few minutes, was phoned back within within half an hour by a nurse and after a thorough q and a got a solution. Picked up prescription at 9.30am feeling lot better 2 days later. Received a call couple of days later with update. Thanks to all great service and very much appreciated

Always had a great experience with this surgery. I work in the NHS so understand the demands of the service; whenever I need an appointment I am offered one with a GP, usually on the same day. Prescriptions are easily communicated to the local pharmacy. GPs are efficient with blood tests/ results and contact me promptly with the results when required.

I have had extremely good service from this practice in the 16 years that I have been with them. The doctors I have found caring and supportive. The reception staff too have always done their best to help when I have needed a service. I do not understand where the negative reviews are coming from.

I have nothing but praise for the professionalism and courtesy shown by all the staff who work in this surgery. Yes, the new appointments system is very frustrating, but these are changing times and most other GP surgeries in England operate the same system. Good news is that if you ring first thing in the morning you will invariably be offered an appointment on the same day. Another big plus is that it will significantly reduce the number of non-attendances
