Dr K Y Tan - the Stubbington Medical Practice

Dr Tan is a kind and caring Doctor,during my wife's long and terrible illness he treated her with respect and consideration and was prepared to listen to her. My wife thought of him as her friend as well as her Doctor. I thank him for his help during those years.

I would like to thank Dr KY Tan for the wonderful support and kindness he gave to my late husband Michael Crooks and also to me - just wish he was still at the Stubbington Healthcentre - I am certain he is very much missed by many of his patients.

Not one for reviews but this surgery deserves the 5 stars after my experience today.
My elderly father is registered with this practice and the care given today was exceptional. After phoning with concerns he was added to nurse triage, I received a call within half hour of triage starting, nurse immediately put him in with duty doc in an hour, he was seen downstairs due to his mobility, urgent bloods ordered for following day and lovely nurse squeezed him in for these to be taken, telephone consult also arranged for end of week by GP. All in all a great level of patient care, Thankyou to all the team, you have been amazing

Over populated, staff (both receptionist and GP alike) have no clue what they're doing. Pretty sure they got their GP licences from a cereal box. Impossible to book an appointment for to said over population. GPs are rude, especially Doctor Knighton and Doctor Tan. The only recommendation I'd make to others about this surgery is to never step a foot near it. Absolutely ridiculous. If I could put 0 stars, I would.

Very poor care for my elderly mother. Not keen to do home visits....out of sight/out of mind. Patient therefore neglected and was on a precarious path which would have lead to her ultimate demise if I had not stepped in to fight her corner.

Phones always down, they are down again. I need an urgent appointment. This practice should go under urgent review...

Im not really sure whats happened to Stubbington Medical Practice. It wasn't great at the best of times but there is obviously no communications whatsoever between Dr's, Receptionist and Secretaries. Painful is the only word I can think of which describes the practice.
