Reception is fine, I think people expect ridiculous levels of deference and politeness which is why the reviews are poor. They're underpaid and oversubscribed, no wonder they don't wanna listen to you rant and ramble over the phone. Doctors are also amazing. I have various mental health issues and they've been extremely polite, respectful and understanding. I feel very safe in these peoples hands

In over 20 years of attending Holland park surgery, I have always had such a great experience; the reception team, doctors and nurses are wonderful. Which is why my experience with one doctor really lets the whole team down.

I attended a checkup for my new born son and wife at 8 weeks and have never felt so patronised or humiliated in all my experience attending health checkups. From the minute we walked in the door, Dr Fatima made me feel as though I shouldn’t be there. She never addressed me directly, nor responded to anything I said and after an ill timed comment about fathers being too slow to change baby, she snapped at me to put him down.

I’ve attended every single appointment we’ve had from midwife’s, health visitors and a lot of hospital appointments and always wanted to be there for my wife and my son at every stage. To be treated in this way went against every other experience we had. My partner and I left feeling visibly shaken, and entirely humiliated.

I am very happy with this practice as I am able to express concerns openly and the staff at the practice (the GP, the nurses and the receptionists) picked everything up gently and with care.
I am surprised to see the poor reports as I could not be any happier. I will be treated here with respect, care and transparently which is very important to me. If I don't have clarity on what the treatment would be like, it would be difficult for me to trust. But here I really trust the doctors and nurses. I can definitely recommend this surgery. Referrals also went smoothly and as quick as possible

Well, I haven’t been in the surgery as of yet, however I followed all procedure and submitted new patient registration a month ago to switch to Holland Park surgery. An turns out they claim they never received it from their online portal, I then take the time out of my day to fill it out again, and now it’s another week to get registered which means it will most likely be at least two or three weeks to be seen. The NHS system just seems to be so overworked no matter what surgery it is the policies and procedures just are not in place to maintain efficiency.

Rude receptionists, unhelpful gps young and unexperienced. I had a traumatic injury and assaults and they left me uncared unattended ... I felt neglected misguided by Dr Dehaas Dr Streeter Dr Sirmili Dr Lewis Dr Saha was particularly very rude on an occasion. Only 1 Gp looked more or less competent it is Mary Jones. I had to travel back home for the second occasion for urgent care they would not do nothing to push referrals. I felt discriminated. I felt like less than a priority and completely neglected. They just issued sick notes but did not care on progresses on injury, nor housing changes, nor assaults recovery ...I had to wait 9 months for the 1st phone call with health specialist. Arrogant, cold and not service oriented. They did not function effectively tively in time of crisis. Everytime I ended up in hospital for checks as they were never able to follow up. Do not go there, you will waste your time and energy!

I went to see Dr Siraj today. I am quite nervous at the GP due to past poor experiences at other surgeries. However she was amazing. I felt at ease and she was a good listener as well as giving me useful advice. She took everything I said seriously. I can't even express how much that meant to me. I will stick with this GP practise as long as I can, their care is really wonderful

Went in for a check in regards to physical pain and damage that are consequences of a tumor, telling the doctor it is hard for me to do physical work, and she said “well, why don’t you want to work?”

Totally unprofessional and surreal interaction. I don’t know how a doctor is allowed to use such a pitiful vocabulary.

Brilliant surgery. Ive been with them for over 30 years, and they have always been kind, caring and gone out of their way to help.I hope I never have to move because I would never want to go to any other surgery.
