DocTap Private GP

On time, tons of helpful advice, friendly and felt I was listened to. Best GP experience I've ever had. Private may be a little pricey, but you totally see the difference in service. Great idea for medical problems where you just really don't want to wait for an appointment in a week! I didn't even have to go to the pharmacy, I was prescribed and sold the appropriate medication during the appointment.

Huge thank you to Dr. Sinclair who saw me yesterday. She was extremely professional and caring. She took the time to listen and I never felt rushed at any point. The consulting room was also very modern and clean. My employer needed a doctor's letter and this was sent through to me within 30 minutes after the appointment! I would highly recommend Doctap to anyone who needs to see a GP or needs medical letters quickly!

Really great experience: lots of appointment availability, no wait-times, professional doctor with really clear explanations and diagnosis. I couldn't get an appointment with my GP for 4 weeks!! But this was an excellent alternative that I will likely use again. Really impressed that you even get a copy of consultation notes sent to you and/or your GP.

Excellent service. To get an appointment with my own GP would have meant a three week wait. Not only was DocTap available on the same day, it was a weekend too - so had the convenience of not taking time off work.

I got my COVID PCR test done with them for fit-to-fly certificate. I had to change my appointment in the last minute and then had to get my sample kit during off hours. But they responded EVEN DURING the long weekend. Cannot recommend them enough.

What I liked -
- Simple process, register yourself on their website and schedule the appointment
- Flexible appointments, you can change them if needed
- Very fast processing, I received mine in less than 24 hours! Although please do allow 70 hrs in case there's high volume on that day
- Reliable and courteous team, that shows that they are there to help you

Absolutely fantastic experience here - I came to have a CoVID-19 Antibody Blood Test and the whole process was so easy, convenient, quick and efficient. Dr Pollard is the best doctor I've ever seen in my life - her technique for taking blood is magic as I literally didn't feel a single thing and she is so friendly, professional and expert she really made me feel at ease.

My son was unable to get an appointment with his usual NHS GP and needed to see someone. It was very easy for him to get a train to St Pancras and then it was just a very short walk to DocTap. My son was seen on time and the doctor impressed him and seemed to both care and know his stuff. My son left with a prescription and, if the issue doesn't clear up, he can get back in touch for a referral to a specialist. Thumbs up from us!

If I could put 0 I would! Very bad services. They refuse to see a 1 yo child, with a NEGATIVE PCR covid test, only because he had cough, which was the reason why we decided to get in touch with them. To avoid Unnecessary waiting at the hospital, to avoid to put more stress on the NHS using a private doctor.
