I'm very grateful for all the help that I've received myself and also all the help and support that is continuously provided to my baby boy. I've seen all doctors and nurses in the practice on numerous occasions. All of them are very helpful and I've never had an issue speaking to a doctor or getting an appointment. The reception staff, dispensary staff and nurses are also very friendly and willing to help you. I've also received referrals (urgent and non-urgent) to hospital consultants when needed. Thank you for your hard work and support!

Having been discharged from hospital I continued to have considerable pain. Tried to speak to someone about this an spoke with a pleasant care navigator who advised me to call back at 8am the next morning. Called as instructed. Initially message saying “the call could not be completed”, overloaded system I guess? Eventually 10 in the call after 18 minutes of calling. Talked to the lovely care navigator at 08:24, who sorted out an appointment for me. I know the telephone system is rather frustrating but how else could you triage patients for overbooked doctors?

I have been a patient at this incredible surgery for many years now and the experience of all the staff as a team are incredible.
Doctors, nurses , receptionists, dispensary etc are all fantastic and have given impeccable service to not only myself but as a family.
Dr Liz Ashley deserves a medal for her service she has given personally to me with the chronic conditions of health I have, that are complex. Her support and kindness amongst that of the other Doctors in her absence, ( Dr Stone 💝 Dr Thomas 💝 Dr Davis 💝 ) have been and are just incredible.
Couldn’t have coped or continue to cope without Dr Ashley’s highly expert advice and knowledge.
Saddens me to see there is a defaming report, as truly she is extremely kind and goes above and beyond to help.
The pressure all the staff are under is unbelievable and despite this as a practice they are exceptional!
Without all of their kindness and support life wouldn’t be manageable!!!
I know this as since coming to the surgery it’s because of the support given that life has improved to be bare able rather than unbareable.....
Thank You 🙏 so much to you all for your exceptional team work and care. Truly couldn’t do this without your help.

Would especially like to again Thank Dr Liz Ashley for being an Angel 😇 💝🙏💝
💕Love Blessings and Best wishes to you all. 💝🙏💝

Can’t praise Dr. Thomas enough. Excellent “bedside manner” and she took all my health concerns very seriously and has made appropriate referrals. The nurses, the dispensary and the reception staff have never been anything other than friendly and helpful.
The NHS is struggling generally, which must be extremely frustrating for the staff who are trying to give the best service possible. Berating them is unfair in my opinion - anger and frustration is best directed where it belongs, at the funding source!

Yesterday I took my Mother for the Covid 19 Oxford vaccine. Everything was so well & safely organised, lovely staff, so professional & caring, can't praise them highly enough at the Mount Pleasant Portskewett Surgery. It is so easy there to park near to the Surgery entrance which made it so much less stressful for my Mum who is a wheelchair user. Thank you to you all there - you provide an amazing Service.

I love this practice the Doctors and staff are lovely. Only problem i have is with that i can't get my meds a day early and I've been told that i have to basically live my life around my meds. If i go on holiday i have to plan around my meds. That is not practical. If I'm on holiday and my meds are due then i should be able to get the extra meds before hand. Also i am from a low income family. I have asked for my meds 1 day early so i can work overtime but nope been told no so now i will lose out on 50 quid. You shouldn't have to plan your lives around your meds its just stupid.

Just Shocking! I’ve lived in Chepstow for 22 Years what an amazing place to raise children. It sad when you can’t get A basic response from a Surgery. I have found since we’ve Entered into a New world of Covid how a basic Request can have a response of unhelpful staff to the point they think it’s acceptable to be rude and speak in a manor of power. A simple Yes or No would have sufficed my appetite but all I got was a power Hungry receptionist obviously pre mentrial or just Exhausted. Let’s hope the Practice manager is Concerned rather than me just being another Non Paying NHS Patient.
