The Village Card Shop

What a fantastic small shop with that real village feel. The staff were really helpful, there wasn't a card appropriate for my mum on the racks so the lady "looked in the drawers"... Low and behold I was given a choice of 4 or 5... Then I had tooooo many to choose from. :) . I'll defiantly be recommending my friends and family.

If you need a card for a Pastor its the place to go. Wonderful shop indeed. Great customer service including the opportunity to get unique cards. A good shop for Handmadecards especially ethnic cards. The Shop has a nice original homely feel to it. You go in and you know you are in a place that knows about cards for all. I would always go there for Pastor cards and unique cards. Thank you

Anytime i need a card or last minute gift, i know i will find the perfect one here. For the 40 odd years I've lived in Streatham, This is the only place i will buy cards from. i think Jayne & Sarah sprinkle a little bit of fairy dust over everything they sell, as when given as gifts, they brighten up the receivers day. From balloons to gift wrapping, everything is done with Love

I'm amazed anyone would leave a negative review as these ladies have always gone the extra mile whenever I have needed cards, whatever the occasion. Gave great advice when we needed balloons for special occasions including my granddaughters 21st, when to buy, where/how to store etc to keep them at their best. They have some interesting and unusual gift items too. This is a popular shop so if cards are not on display, Sarah & Jayne will happily check the drawers if asked. In fact I often leave there with more cards than the ONE I initially intended to buy so I'm always covered for several months ahead. Other members of my family shop here too, they love the social banter and sometimes are lucky enough to be served by their resident feline helping at the checkout :) (sorry Sarah, Jayne, can't remember kitty's name) although I haven't seen it of late hope it's okay.

The people who run the Village Card Shop are always very helpful and friendly. I have used the Shop to drop off parcels for many years as they act on behalf of UPS. I have never had any issues with shipments and they have always taken care to meet the needs of their customers. In these difficult times this extends to taking precautions to keep everyone safe. They take a pride in being a part of the community and should be supported in their turn.

I spent the best part of an hour in stitches as "Patsy and Edina" went above and beyond to help me find the (most beautiful) card for my wife's birthday.
These two delightful ladies need to have their own show on television!
A most enlightening experience.

Local card shop which can have some great finds for weddings and Christenings. The ladies there always greet you with a smile and ready to help.
They keep items from small business suppliers so some are quite unique.
Additionally they are also a delivery venue for UPS, which is quite handy, as well as free. The reason for 4 stars is just because of the unhelpful opening hours, which means we can only pick up our items between a very limited period of time! And closed on Sundays and Mondays. Personally I have struggled but happy support local small business if the opening hours are user friendly.

I use the shop for past over 20 years the owner Sara and Jane both r gem..Sarah always pick appropriate cards etc. For me when I am not sure. She picked a gift for me last week for my friend
my friend cried and said she never seen anything so beautiful she wasn't well she just had her vaccine she said gift made her feel better
