The Old Bakehouse

First visit under new ownership. Inside is still the nice old building it is and the menu is ok for lunch but the website does offer a second menu but that was not available. Food ordered and was all very tasty and nicely presented. My concern though on this visit was the service which was very slow. The restaurant was not busy so not clear why it was so. The staff were friendly and helpful but spent lots of time on mobile phone as as they walked through the restaurant. A shame as we did enjoy the food. We will try again as this might have been just on that day. So do go and try it as the food is good, but maybe be prepared to wait a bit for it.

The most amazing eating experience ever!! The surrounding is not an average pub but very authentic in it's own way. The staff is quick, attentive, humorous and friendly. The food was amazing, we have ordered rib-eye steak, linguine pizza and pork medallions. It was just marvellous, the meat was cooked perfectly. The pork medallions are highly recommended!!

Lovely food, friendly service. Sharing platter was delicious and plenty to feed three of us. Generous portions throughout. The recommended lamb shank special was exceptional. Baklava was amazing. Will be returning.

Wow. I wanted to try somthing different as it's my wifes Birthday. So glad we went to the Bakehouse nice relaxed atmosphere very polite staff.
The food was amazing we had fungi al forno for starter and main we had chicken souvlaki and lamb kofta best kofta i have ever had.
There was no room left to get a Dessert ìn but am sure they are just as amazing as the meal we had.
We will be returning thanks for i great evening.

Had a wonderful time at the Old bakehouse last night. Food was great and the ladies who served us were really on the ball too. I had the linguine cozze and would definitely recommend it: I got a lot of mussels and prawns considering the price. The only down side was due to the extreme heat and lack of air conditioning or proper ventilation it was a bit stifling but it was unprecedented how hot it was going to be this week. It's also a shame that they don't have a proper dessert menu, as I picked a cheesecake (which was delicious) but unfortunately came covered in caramel which I don't like - a menu probably would have warned me about it. All in all, it was a great atmosphere, staff were fast and friendly, food was to a wonderful standard and I would recommend it to anyone considering a visit.

Most awful experience. The young man who took the order did not take my daughters order even after reconfirming the order twice. When the food arrived we understood that my daughter did not have her meals.!!!.To be honest she didn't miss anything, it was below average oven cooked food nothing like Greek food.

Of all the courses on the menus, there were only four options available. It became a joke when asking for a dish on the menu to be told sorry it is not availble.
when trying to order drinks the majority on the menu are not available.
The food was average, the Potato wedges where supposed to be crispy came delivered as soggy.
No one came to check if the food was alright, to ask if we wanted more drinks. there was no care shown to us as customers.

On leaving, you have to go and find the waitress to provide you with a bill to pay. Only to find that the card machine isn’t working. Than be told to go across the street draw cash and come back.

All in all once in a life time experience, never to be repeated again.

Excellent service. Food was fabulous. And a beautiful bunch of flowers was waiting on our table as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, what a lovely thought. Highly recommend 👌
