The Village Greek

I have been to the village greek on enough occasions to have sampled everything on the menu at least once 😉 every time leaving there completely full and very satisfied with the food portions and taste. In my opinion they do the BEST traditional pork kebabs cooked on Real charcoal. The service is always faultless and nothing is a problem for them. Great owner and staff. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you.

We used The Village Greek as caterers for my daughter's christening and the food was absolutely delicious. We had so many compliments on how tasty it was and that the variety was perfect. The staff were all helpful and lovely especially Paul. Highly recommended! Thanks again!

They have consistently delivered hot, fresh and brilliant food to my families doorstep in the most difficult of times.

I can safely say I have never had a bad experience, and I enjoy tucking into his kebabs on a regular basis.

Went for the 1st time yesterday. Simple and clean, the food was excellent and as good if not better than the alternatives in Cockfosters (which I avoid due to a dislike of the wannabe gangsters competing over who stole or inherited the most money). If you don't feel the need to try impress others, and you just want good honest Greek food, give this a try.

Poor service but great food!

Ordered from the menu directly on their website. We ordered a mix grill that said 'with house fries', a kebab with a specific request for garlic sauce, and king prawns that said 'with rice.
The mixed grill arrived with no chips, the prawns with no rice and the kebab with no sauce. After a quick call in the girl was quite rude and said we ordered off the wrong menu! And the takeaways don't come with chips or rice but are charged at the same rate.
The service from the order person was very unprofessional. The manager kindly called us back and explained the menu problem (there were 2 menus. One on just eat and one on their website!) and did offer a token gesture but we were still left disapointed from the service and time we wasted calling for a solution.
Other than that the food that did come was amazing! And if they get the service right and the menu confusion sorted then you won't be disapointed with the food.

Extremely disappointed with the chicken & lamb kebab & dips we ordered tonight. The chicken was basted in a flavouring that ruined the taste, the salad consisted of only onions tomatoes & cucumber and the hummus & taramasalata were the worst we’ve tasted & the tzatziki did not arrive. Will not be using this restaurant again sadly.

Top service! Ordered directly from the restaurant - lady over the phone was very nice. Food arrived hot and within specified time. Meat was fresh and taramasalata is definitely something that cant be beaten by other restaurants

A lovely restaurant with delicious food. Our starters were great, I recommend the calamari. The lamb was flavoursome too.
