Sunny Restaurant

Decided to take son for a Greek meal for his birthday as he had never tried proper Greek food before.

What a wee gem of a find.

Host was friendly, jolly and attentive. Food was fresh and cooked to perfection.

Some reviews point out the decor as dated Well I suppose its a personal thing to me I found it added to the atmosphere, certainly didn't detract from the quality of the meal.

The only thing to be aware of is parking in the general area it's not great.

Food was exquisite! the atmosphere was wonderful, very homely and welcoming. The owners are absolutely lovely people! I would definitely recommend to friends and family and will certainly come again. Great introduction to Greek food

We went to Sunnys tonight for dinner , it was just as I remembered ( after not going for about 12 years ) the chef is the same and the food was amazing , I had kelftico for my main and it was so tasty , I will definitely be going back soon .

What a great night we had here the owner was so accommodating he done us dishes which was not on the menu to accompany these dishes I had t- bone steak it was done to perfection with a lovely salsa sauce on the side. My wife had fillet bourguignon which she loved. At the end of the meal the plates were clear the only thing what was left my my bone even this weren’t wasted has we took it home for the dog 🐶. Let’s all support this little gem of a restaurant hope to see you soon George and Bobbie xx

Me and my family had such a amazing dinner here for my birthday last week.
The owner was absolutely lovely and the food was so delicious. Empty plates all round!
Highly recommend here, it's a lovely, quiet, authentic Greek restaurant!
I sadly didn't take any photos of the food as we were too busy eating It but next time I come I will take pictures as it was presented beautifully!

2 of the party were told that if they wanted something from a kebab shop, they should go to a kebab shop... not what you'd class as good service (and why put it on the menu if you don't want people to order it!)

The food was tasteless and the atmosphere was non existent which was a real shame as we had been looking forward to out trip there.

First time visiting this gem, one of the oldest Greek restaurants in Sussex. Although slightly dated the restaurant ozzes character. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back!
