ALDI

I know it's fairly cheap but not a favourite place to shop. At least the Glascote road one has self checkout so you don't get stuck behind large lines of trollies when you only have a basket.

The prices have increased but are still much less expensive than all other supermarkets. Aisles are sometimes difficult to negotiate due to pallets partly blocking a way through especially for disabled with wheelchairs and the like. It's also somewhat frustrating that the tills are not open until there's a queue waiting then it's a scramble to be first in line in a new queue. Having said that, I'll continue using Aldi for the average shopping needs. There are many items, I need, that Aldi doesn't stock. So I suppose that's the price we pay to shop at Britain's cheapest supermarket.

A typical good sized branch of Aldi, almost indistinguishable from any other branch, as you might expect. It has a good range of stock, sensible aisle space, great parking space, and always seems to have enough trolleys and baskets. But the one factor which I think makes this branch special is the staff. Those I have encountered have been friendly and personable, and have helped to give an otherwise faceless store its own unique and welcoming local character. Keep it up guys!

Not crazy busy at 3 pm. Quite a lot of empty shelves, but in these difficult times some gaps to be expected. Polite staff, very noticeable increase in cost of weekly shopping bill,

We have 3 aldi's in tamworth and not one is fully stocked. Glascote has the friendliest staff , Ventura aldi is awful not a nice experience for me.

Nice layout and the self scan are great for keeping the queues down to a minimum

Happy place to shop, clean and very helpful staff. Prices are going up slowly.
Noticed lately the store is getting busier. Stock running quicker, but glad to say, its replenished often
