Thrapston’s Co-Op food store. Open 7 days a week until 8pm except Sundays which 4pm. The store has great free parking and the staff are always friendly, helpful and have a smile on their faces. The store has a in-store bakery for fresh baked goods. There is a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Sadly there isn’t a deli counter but there is a good selection of prepackaged meats and deli type foods.

A newly revamped co-op.
Looking rather modern with spacious Isles.
Plenty of parking.
Toilet available.
Self service tills, as well as staffed tills.
Plastic baskets available for use, both for carrying and wheeled.
Many sections including frozen.
Refill section too.
The bread section is a little small, but apart from that there is quite a selection.

Better general selection and layout since the refit and the produce selection has improved. Easy to park, good opening hours and most basics available.

Hello darkness my old friend... this was my first visit to Thrapston Co-Op since its refurbishment a while back and it just seems so dark and gloomy. Is the reduced lighting to try and hide the ever increasing prices due to the cost of living crisis ... or are they trying to save on the leccy bill already?

Enough for day to day basis. For longer planning (2+ weeks in advance) might be better going to ASDA in Raunds or Tesco in Kettering off A14 for a wider range of selection.

Revamped new look and geared up for meals for one based on home cooking, with lots of variety. Also, novel idea on pick your own frozen treats without packaging, environmentally friendly. Well done Co-op!
