The owners are lovely, the rooms are very cosy whether a single room or a family room. We travelled with our 22 month old son and it was no bother for them, even preparing a portacot and high chair for us before arrival. The breakfast was delicious too!

Delightful stay. Peacefully quiet. Short distance to Parva Winery for award winning wines or tasting. Tintern Abbey and Abbey Mills close by. Good bookshop nearby also. Large room with cosy seating. Freesat. Kettle. Range of teas. Fair breakfast. Homemade bread and local jams. Comfy posh bed. Feather pillows. Cotton sheets. Large bathroom. Range of Cole and Lewis soaps and hand creams. Quality loo paper. Bath with shower over. Lots of hot water. Lovely genuine and caring hosts. 4 car parking spots adjacent to main road. Great views from slightly elevated position. Lovely garden and hanging baskets. Clean. Would happily stay again. Thank you Anika and Ian.

Old fashioned and clean rooms. Continental breakfast. Don't expect a cooked breakfast as per website. That needs updating. Host polite.

Large and very comfortable room with its own 'entrance' (very convenient as we had a small dog). Friendly and welcoming hostess. Good facilities in our room (choice of beverages, biscuits, cereal and fruit), and good quality toiletries for use in the generous bath. Easy parking and the bookshop in Tintern has re-opened! The Fountain Inn (a short drive away) is worth a visit for its superb food. Would definitely visit again.

Dreadful, noisy and dirty dogs barking when we returned to the property, old outdated furnishings, needs serious overhaul. Host friendly and accommodating with lots of homemade jams, etc.

We stated here for a week as a family of 4 and dog in the two bedroom suite. Plenty of space for us. Very clean and comfortable with everything you could need, even a dog blanket, towels and treats! A little warm in the main bedroom but a fan is provided. Traditionally decorated (chintzy?!) not to my taste but still very nicely done. The breakfasts were amazing. The location is spot on, great base for exploring the Wye valley, Forest of Dean, and nearby towns of Chepstow and Monmouth. Bristol and Cardiff are also within easy reach. Tintern is just beautiful with several good pubs and a vineyard. Recommended!

Lovely little B&B! Very quirky, lovely little touches throughout! Toiletries in the bathroom which was lovely, flowers throughout. Traditional Welsh breakfast was also lovely, all locally produced products, with freshly pressed juice, cereal, and locally made jams! Even homemade bread, which was beautiful! The host herself was so friendly and welcoming. Even supplied me with some soya milk as I'm lactose intolerant, so that I could have tea in my room 😊 The only downside I would say is the climb up to the house! It's a challenge! Steep steps! Not for those with mobility issues, but a lovely lovely place 😁😁
