We had a fantastic stay at this B&B. The room was excellent. It was clean, ordered and a very welcome retreat at the end of a hard day's beach combing. The owner, Dafydd is exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. We enjoyed a great breakfast made by Dafydd the morning after our overnight stay. Without a doubt we will be booking again to go and stay there soon.

The host wasn't as friendly as I'd expected, the breakfast room was sparse. It's not a typical b and b where you're in the heart of the home. The patio area/courtyard area is right by the parked cars. Breakfast was yummy. Room was lovely but cobwebs everywhere and scuff marks on walls.

Room itself was nice and clean, new shower with very good pressure. Area is lovely, local pub and people very friendly, 20 mins by walking to the beach, lovely views. The only thing to see in the area is Rhossili and obviously rest of the nature. When the weather is good you can travel around and see beaches and hills but when it is raining there is no alternative options. Blas Gwyr is great place to stay for 2 or max 3 nights.

This is a really nice b&b. The accommodation is immaculate and really beautifully designed and the bed we had was so comfortable. The owner is a delight to meet and talk to and a brilliant breakfast cook as well. He is very welcoming and helpful yet unobtrusive. The breakfast room is light and nicely set out and the breakfast choice is perfectly adequate for all. Beautifully cooked and delightfully served it was more than enough to see us through a good day of walking. We were sad when our few days stay came to an end and we had to return home. One other thing, the accommodation is dog-friendly but so clean and well kept that one would never know that our dog hadn't been the first canine visitor. The village is perfect for walking straight from the room door and Blas Gwyr is beautifully situated on the outskirts of the village and is thus beautifully quiet.

What a wonderfull place to stay. We were there for 3 nights and couldn't have had a nicer host. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. It's also in a really good location and will definitely stay there again.

Lovely cosy B&B. Great fun host and delicious breakfast. Room was small but cosy with great bathroom. Direct access to countryside for running and walking. Easy to get to the beach for surfing.

Lovely August 2020 weekend stay.
First holiday in a year.
Good break to recharge batteries after a heavy working year.
The accommodation and breakfast facilities adapted to make everything safe in the covid era.
The owner is a good host, a good cook and a good guide.
This is our second stay here.

We really enjoyed our long weekend staying at Blas Gwyr. Dafydd was a great host and the B&B was well located to explore both Rhossili and Llanmadoc on foot. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay on the Gower.
