It's such a shame that the smaller music shops are so over-priced, especially with second hand equipment. I've been playing and collecting guitars and equipment for over 30 years but to walk in somewhere and see prices that are double their second hand value and for an instrument that is not in pristine or customised condition for me as a customer is quite off putting.

First visit today, only popped in to get some plectrums, but what a superb shop. Friendly owner, so welcoming and helpful, will definitely be going back. Support your local businesses!

Lovely little shop with a good range of mostly budget and cheaper vintage gear, an awesome treasure hunting experience well worth the visit

We bought 2 ukuleles for our kids,used once at there school so returned them ,no offer of refund and lady said she will show her husband as they had both broke at the neck of the instrument,the kids btw didn't break them as the first outing was at the school and the teacher discovered the issue with both of the instruments.
Wasn't expensive about 28 pound each but we thought ideal for beginners, waited waited but no reply and been to shop and every time we get there shut .
I actually forgot about the instruments as its been over six months plus since we took them back, looked a good place but seems there very reluctant to refund or fix or forgot about us ,either one still not good , not sure if they assumed kids damaged them and our word wasn't good enough or genuinely going to fix or refund later,well my review is honest and if they want to contact me and sort out my complaint I'm willing to review my review.

Had difficulty finding this place. Had to climb a flight of stairs to get to shop, although well laid out they did not have what I was looking for.

A fantastic gem of a shop. I’m new to the guitar world but everyone made me feel welcome and where really helpful. I purchased a LAG acoustic guitar brand new. An excellent instrument and just what I needed. Martin had it set up for me and lowered the action FREE of charge WOW. I’ve been back many times and purchased multiple guitars. Just bought a twelve string, it’s in being set up with new strings, again no charge. A fantastic shop and a great family to advise on guitars 10 out of 10 in my book. Keep up the great work.

Very attentive, friendly and helpful. Went in searching for strings and a bag, left with strings that I was very happy with and although they didn't have bags that fit my guitar they could recommend bags to look out for. They also gave me recommendations on guitar sizes for my young students. Will definitely visit again.
