Absolutely luv the guys at the shop. I’ve been a regular costumer at life guitars for around a year now, I’ve always had brilliant service weather it’s from Joff, Emma, Jacob, George or James. They’re always knowledgeable on the gear that they’ve had in, they’re friendly, welcoming and brilliant people. I’ve had many purchases there (all guitars) and they’ve all been phenomenal, pricing is fair, condition is brilliant and the set ups are phenomenal. I’ve brought miscellaneous yes essential items such as strings and picks and had a wonderful experience. Sometimes whenever I’m in the area I pop in and have a look around and a jam for a few hours and that is just as welcome to them as me buying essentials or large purchases. Life guitars has a plethora of different gear in stock from beginner guitars to vintage guitars and all in between; pedals, amps and cases. If you’re looking for your new guitar store, life guitars is the one.

Amazing and incredibly helpful people who work here that have a genuine connection to the music industry and a desire in helping you for your best interests. I got a 10% discount here due to my collage and I saved £60. Thr collection of guitars and amps are amazing with a fair sized pedal haul. These guys are just fantastic! When trying to decide which amp to buy James was so very helpful, patient and full of knowledge on all the stock (and beyond) allowing us the time to make a really informed decision on what to buy, in the end we bought our beautiful Marshall.
After returning home and playing it for a little while we noticed a couple of issues with it and called to store to inform them of this, Joff was so helpful and really went the extra mile to help us and get the amp repaired.
Highly recommend this store for their knowledge and customer service, also the only guitar shop open on a Sunday is a great bonus!

I went into Life guitars yesterday and spoke to the guy about selling my Aria pro 335 , he was real helpfull and going to take it in to show him in the next couple of weeks , he done me a real good deal on a Les Paul hard case . Real nice staff in shop highly recommended.

Just visited whilst on a visit to Exeter. What a great guitar shop and knowledgeable owner. Could have spent hours just talking and viewing some amazing guitars. Made my visit to Exeter worthwhile. Visit this shop if you love secondhand gear at both ends of the price spectrum.

Life guitar's sold me a 1985 Les Paul in mint condition and play's like a beut. Excellent service . Even gave me a hard case and free Gibson strap.will definitely be back , great team.
