I came to the toddler classes with my son and he loved using all of the equipment. The staff were really friendly and made us feel at ease (especially Phillip and Gemma). I was impressed with the interest they took in him and all of the equipment is well kept and the facilities are clean. So when he turned 4 I enrolled him in the kinder classes which he has been doing for a year now. His upper body strength has really improved and he loves going. Highly recommend.

I have been a member of Croydon School of Gymnastics for over 20 years. The facility is great and am now planning to take my son to the Parent & Toddler classes. There's lots of fantastic equipment to get your toddler learning coordination, balance and strength.

Superb Club, with great history in the Borough and supportive staff. They offer a range of classes for different abilities and ages. Highly recommend anyone who wants to get involved with the sport of gymnastics.

I used to come to this gym to do recreational classes when I was around 10 years old. It was an amazing experience that has stayed with my throughout my whole life and last year I went back to join their adult classes. It’s a nice family gym with a strong community feel, it was nice to see familiar faces from all those years ago and definitely a good gym with loads of lovely friendly coaches!

Family orientated club. I have been going on and off for over 30 years now. It’s a great second home to all kids and adults alike. If you’re an adult and want to get fit yourself, get back into it or just meet others trying the sport out then it’s a great place to go. If you want to set your child(ren) up for life with basic skill such as, co-ordination, strength, flexibility, and general fitness, get them along. I’m already taking my 20 month old daughter along to the parent and toddler classes and she loves it (soft play with structure). Can’t recommend it highly enough.

I've been a member of Croydon SoG since the age of 3. Now 30 years on, I am now a coach at the club and am one of the longest serving members.

In a nutshell I've learnt so much from our Head Coach Jackie Lewis from being a gymnast to becoming a coach. She has mentored me all through my coaching qualifications and I'm still learning! I have a disability (Asperger's and Dyspraxia) so for me learning takes a lot longer but I have always felt included and gymnastics has given me so many opportunities I would otherwise never have had if it wasn't for the club and Jackie.

From the first day Jackie entered me into my first competition, I was hooked. I eventually earned my place on the Disabilities National Squad which I was part of for over a decade and represented the club at national and international events. I became a British Champion in 2005 and became overall World Silver Medalist Silver with 2 apparatus golds at the Special Olympics World Games in Athens in 2011.

The club is a great place for gymnasts and coaches and has a real family feel. Its open to everyone young or old and caters for all levels including children with disabilities and has a class for adults too.

I highly recommend the club to anyone who wants to give their child a an opportunity to take part and perhaps go on to become a competitor in this wonderful sport. Gymnastics sets you up for life, physically, mentally and teaches you life skills as well.

Have watched Jackie develop this gymnastic club over many years to be one of the finest there is. All the members are cared for, as in a family, nurtured through their lives as well as through the sport. Many of the friends they make at this club last a lifetime, as do the lessons in supporting each other and joint efforts. Not just a sport, but a lesson in living,
