I had been recommended by a friend to The Hair Secret in Berkhamsted after I had had a very bad experience at another salon in town and to my delight the Hair Secret were absolutely fantastic. Kim was the stylist that transformed my hair; she listened very carefully to my brief and then explained to me what she was going to do and the results were brilliant; she achieved everything that we had set out to achieve and now I am extremely pleased with my hair. Her attention to detail was second to none and she clearly cares about her clients. I would highly recommend her and the salon.

I had my hair and make up done for my Sons' wedding by the incredibly talented owner - Natalie. My daughter also had her hair put up by Kim, who was totally amazing. She has very long hair so it took a lot of time and persistence to get the achieved style. Although it may have been a challenge she didn't rush at all, and my daughter had total confidence in Kim's work. We were so welcomed by everyone, and both felt completely relaxed and looked after. Natalie made me feel and look so glam! For such a special day for all of our family and friends it gave me so much confidence. We would both highly recommend The Hair Secret, thank you so much!

The lovely lady on reception (sorry can't remember her name) when I originally popped in to discuss my requirements was fantastic, went into detail and gave me advise and made my decision to go with Hair Secret very easy!

My hair dresser Amy was also amazing and gave me exactly what I wanted without me having to go into much detail.

Due to their 10 year anniversary today I received a mocktail and cupcake on arrival from a lovely little boy.

The apprentice who washed my hair was also very lovely and chatty..

The lady I originally met on my first visit was there and when i asked both her and Amy they were both more than happy to help me with my questions in order to maintain my look.

Service like this goes a long way! Here is to the next 10 years :)

This is a wonderful salon where all of the staff are true artists and extremely skilled. I've been having my cut and colour done here for a couple of years now and the results have always been amazing, no matter which stylist. I originally chose the salon for the organic and ethical credentials, which they are fully committed to. Natalie the owner has created a wonderful environment and it is a pleasure to spend time with her and all her staff.
I had a major colour change this week by Kaycie, Senior Designer, and the results are stunning - it takes a lot of skills, knowledge and experience (on products and after-care advice as well as the actual cut and colour) to get such good results, and I am delighted.
100% recommend The Hair Secret, best salon for miles around.

Absolutely amazing experience at The Hair Secret! I've had so many problems with hair colouring in the past and Laura Jayne was able to understand my concerns and give me exactly what I wanted. My hair is very long and so the appointment took a long time during which she was always friendly and professional. I love that the salon uses vegan and organic products. I was expecting the price to be a lot higher than it was which was a pleasant surprise, so definitely value for money. Effective Covid-19 Measures were also put in place such as hand sanitiser, gloves, face masks and social distancing as I was the only client in the room. Would 100% recommend this salon.

Their expertise at colouring is amazing - they have a talent at selecting colours which flatter and enhance.

I have had my hair done by many members of staff now and been very pleased with them all. You are sure of a lovely welcome and a friendly face.

I regularly visit The Hair Secret for my hairdressing needs. As a hairdresser myself, I am really fussy but Kaycie always achieves everything I'm after. The salon is always welcoming, clean and all the staff are friendly. I guess the fact that I do a 26 mile round trip to have my hair done here says it all.

Went in today for a cut. Was a bit anxious before arriving about the Covid situation. However, the measures put in place by the salon are excellent. I felt really safe and comfortable throughout my visit. And my mane has finally been tamed. Thanks Hair Secret and Holly for the lovely cut.
