My wife attended for a post covid hair cut, and I was told the stylist was highly skilled, very quick and knowledgeable. She had a wash, cut and blow dry, all done in half an hour, and everything was under 25£(its worth mentioning she has very long hair, well beyond shoulder length). Very pleased with this place, and highly recommend it to others as well. Will surely be back in a few months time for another cut.

I go this place for me and my son haircut. Always had satisfying service. My son who is 4, likes this place compared to all others in the area because Maria is always welcoming and keeps him comfortable during the cut. I always find the place neat, which is one another reason I prefer going this place.

My 15 year old daughter wanted layered wolf cut but was particular about length etc. She has had several bad experiences with other hairdressers and was nervous to try Barberess for the first time. Maria accommodated her needs as a hijab wearer and understood what my daughter wanted from the several pictures she showed. My daughter had a smile on her face when she saw the finished hair cut- that is a rear treat from a teenager! Thank you Maria! We will be coming back x

Maria is an amazingly kind and very talented hair-dresser. I've been going to her for a while now and have no words to say how much I appreciate her hard work and dedication. Prices are super reasonable too, so please go and see her with confidence.

I've been coming to Maria for the last 15 years and wouldn't trust anybody else with my hair! Even after I moved 200 miles away I still book an appointment whenever I'm able to visit. Other hairdressers always said that they couldn't get my dark, curly, fine hair light enough to achieve the bright neon colours that I would like but Maria had always been able to and my hair is never damaged in the process. I've tried other hairdressers closer to where I live now and some big chains/brand names and they just don't seem to have the skills needed for pixie cuts on thin hair or getting dark hair lighter than that weird orange colour.

Maria also did my bridal hair, and with some decent hair pieces and extensions was able to turn my bobcut at the time into a luxurious updo. I felt amazing!

I will always recommend Barberess! A friendly, personal and well priced local business.

I am struggling to put my experience into words but it haircut and whole experience were amazing(even magical). First of all, the haircut, the time and care put into it - were perfect. I always used to get anxious whenever going to a hairdresser - she changed that for good. The experience was phenomenal, she was very empathetic, polite, understanding and professional(both as hairdresser(15+years experience and in customer service/care).
Forget about sour/angry faces, rude personal questions, etc - only expect an amazing haircut, care and therapy for your anxieties(I do believe she is a healer lol). Want magic happen to you too? Visit the place - you won't regret it. 10/10
