My fault I guess for not paying attention to how old the positive reviews that have been posted here are. My experience was quite different.

I called early on a Saturday morning and asked for an afternoon appointment for a wash and blow-out and was given a 4:00 slot. I arrived about 5 minutes early; one stylist was finishing up with a client and the other was busy taking highlight wrappers from another at the sink in back.

No one greeted me but I said good-afternoon, waited a pause and then told the stylist nearest me that I was there for a 4:00 appointment. She looked at me but didn't say anything, however it was clear to me she knew I was there.

I sat down and waited while she finished up with her client, chatted with her for a bit and then, when the client left, she turned to the back of the salon and disappeared down a flight of stairs. The other stylist was still busy at the sink with her client and, occasionally, I saw her looking up in my direction and then down in the direction of the stairs but she did not say a word.

I waited a full 10 minutes and decided that, given my growing unease with the situation, I certainly didn't feel comfortable letting either of these stylists touch my hair so I got up and walked out.

I have been coming to Olly's since it first opened and even though I've moved away from South Kensington I still travel in to have Maggy do my hair! I can't imagine life without Maggy. My feeling is that if you find a good hairdresser, who knows what they are doing, will try and fit you in at short notice, accommodate your changing styles and give you top results each time -- you'd be mad not to keep coming back. This is a small salon with expert stylists and I wish Olly a long and continued success.

Rude and poor service! Clearly only wants select clientele only. Runs people out the door if they are not the type she wants there!!

Maggie is an amazing hairdresser. She has been doing my hair for over 30 years , colour ,cut and blow dry the best.

Maggie has been cutting my hair and my Mother’s hair for years. She’s amazing! My haircut is always absolute perfection! I highly recommend her and her salon.
