A few days ago I went to hair remedy wanting the 1st photo attached - a full dye of brown with highlights, a very natural look. Instead, I got the 2nd and photo, which clearly is not what I asked for. I’m not usually one to complain so I went home to sleep on it. The following day I was devastated, it looked like I had grey streaks, I looked double my age. Not only this but my roots looked red / orange in some areas (3rd picture). I rang and explained the situation, the female assistant told me to come in to get a toner put in which will make it darker, I explained I did not want a toner, I wanted it dyed brown so it was permanent, like what I originally asked for.
When I got to the salon they completely dismissed what I wanted and just made it darker with a toner. I then asked if they could make the front lighter so it could at least slightly resemble the original image I showed them, when I asked this the female assistant HUFFED annoyingly and I was told it will get lighter itself with a few washes. (the same female assistant also put hair dye all over my sides of my face, my face is STILL stained and when she washed and combed my hair she was extremely rough, it was obvious she does not care about clients).
It’s very rude and unprofessional to huff in front of your client, if anyone should be huffing it should be me, I drove 1 hour 30 minutes each way to get my hair done by Hair Remedy, only to repeat the journey again. I paid £245 for something I did not want, they then tried correcting it with a toner which will eventually wash out, it also looks red under the light, as shown in the 4th image. the hair I have ended up with is definitely not worth £245 and definitely worth an apology, but they did not apologise once.
The male hairdressers were comforting however it felt fake because they knew it was not what I asked for and kept making excuses so in the end I just wanted to leave.
The only person who gave me genuine kind and professional service during this was Onur.
I’m definitely never returning and do not recommend.
I like to change things up and always change the colour of my hair. The Hairdressers at Hair Remedy have always guided me through the transitions and got the colour i want without doing any damage to it.
I have nothing but great things to say about this salon and the only people i trust to do my hair!
I have recommended them to my friends and colleagues and will continue to do so
My hair feels so silky, beautiful blow dry.. Thank you 😊
I will come back for sure and I definitely recommend this place!
The very beginning when we was having a conversation and I could have just done my roots. I don’t like confrontation and I don’t like speaking my mind. The people are nice but don’t make it out that it wasn’t possible to do what I requested and hence why I have the colour I have now. If it wasn’t possible after me showing the picture of what I wanted let me know then I would not proceed with it. I left it in the hands of you guys and I came out blonde. I did not want a blonde balayage. I got made feel like I couldn’t say what I wanted too because you guys knew what you was doing. I’m more upset 2 weeks on because it’s a horrible colour on me and a lot of money was spent. Furthermore I asked for balayage which was £120 how did I end up spending 230? Clients should be told what it will cost before starting any treatment not when your in the middle of dying the hair. £120 just for balayage and it does not include cut and blow dry. Fine that’s not included. I paid what I did but I wanted my hair on the browner side of balayage. The original phone call I made to the salon was for a balayage hair colour which includes cut and blow dry which they confirmed total of £120. Whilst getting the treatment done they added organic noir which I didn’t know about, extra for toner again I didn’t know about. I ended up with completely different hair colour to what I wanted. My hair is not thick and it was already dark brown. I’m so gutted and I don’t know who to trust with my hair. I was told because my hair is warm I can’t get the brown balayage and hence why my hair is a blonde balayage. I’m just so upset. I attached the brown balayage of what I showed and the blonde is me now. They are two different colours.
