We called to book. The appointment was on time. Two lovely Hairdressers, very smiley & good at what they do. Lovely atmosphere.

I was quoted one price but charged another price which she only let me know towards the end of the treatment- charged me £20 more for a blow dry..Had no other choice but to pay...Will not be going back to them fortunately. Avoid!

I've been going to Rapunzel for a while now whenever I need a cut and a blowdry and I have always been extremely happy with the outcome. The staff are extremely kind, attentive and try to help you with any concerns I might have, talking through the process and answering any questions without making you feel silly.

I wanted to change my hair colour for the first time and went to them again last week, my stylist Sonya was incredible. I was very worried with bleaching my hair for the first time however she eased all my worries and produced incredible results, I've never felt more confident about my hair and will be returning again.

Thank you to all the great staff at the Salon the experience once again was great!

Last weekend, I went in for a balyage. My hair already had bleach in; but rather than putting less on these sections than the non bleached sections, the stylist slapped loads on, and even put more on later on. This caused my hair to go stretchy and break at the ends, I questioned this at the time but was told was perfectly normal (yes normal if you want to damage your hair - I've had my hair coloured enough over the past 10 years to know what is okay and what isn't).

The stylist then rinsed the bleach out and brushed out the back comb needed for the balyage. She was very forceful, causing much pain to the extent it made me wince. Even when I made a noise because of  the pain I was in she persisted with the same force. Lots of my hair was breaking and falling out as she was brushing it.

Another stylist then washed my hair - she did a good job and was very gentle.

I was returned to the original stylist who then toned my hair, which was fine. The cut was fine. The stylist then blow dried my hair without using any heat protection, again I questioned this at the time but my concerns were ignored.

The overall look is alright, but my hair has been left frazzled, straw like and very damaged. For the price I paid I feel  upset and  traumatised at the outcome.

Later the same day, I called to express my disappointment and concerns and was offered a free olaplex treatment to try and rectify their mistakes. I have olaplex treatments  at home already so have used this to try to revive my hair. It hasn't worked and  my hair is still falling out.

Today I called up again to say that an olaplex treatment would not be enough to address the damage that my hair has suffered. The woman on the phone was rude and unhelpful, turning the blame on me saying that I hadn't told the stylist when paying that I wasn't happy. At the time, I wasn't completely aware of the extent of the damage, and also felt too nervous to make a fuss. The woman also said that from pictures she'd seen which were taken by the stylist, my hair looked fine and there wasn't a problem. I told her that photos are deceptive and she said that they weren't.

She then shouted down the phone telling me there was no chance of a refund but I could still get an olaplex treatment if I wanted. After the treatment I have received both in person and on the phone I don't want anyone within that establishment near my hair.

I paid £190 for the privilege although I questioned the price before paying as it did not seem to align with what was advertised. I will now have to pay more money elsewhere to get my hair sorted. A complete rip off. I will not be visiting Rapunzels again and strongly suggest you do not try them either.

Took my wife to Rapunzel’s recently and it was just awful. Dirty shop, smelly, overpriced and very poor customer service. If Rapunzel had actually got her hair done here they’d be making a huge detour up the tower via all her split ends.

Awful experience! DO NOT book here. I felt uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. Terrible haircut - I’m so upset. I won’t be leaving the house until this has grown out! Rapunzel’s - you should be ashamed of how you treat your customers.

i’ve been going to Rapunzel’s since 2018 to get my hair balayage and dye my roots. I honestly love it. Ayse and Songul have both done my hair and they are both really good. i always get an eyelash lift done by Berfin and it is always good. 10/10 recommendation. Customer service is always good and i always feel welcomed:)

I has a really good cut and blow dry by Sonya. Very pleasant people and nice environment. Happy to recommend
