Hadleigh Hairloom

The team here is excellent, and always go out of their way to help with my (rather tricky!) hair. They're great value for money but provide a top-class service in a beautifully kitted out salon. So lucky to have this close by and wouldn't go anywhere else!

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. The service was personal, and even though it looked like a ladies salon the barbering was very good. I was very pleased to be given personal service from the resident sausage dog too. A lovely touch. Prices for a gents cut were pretty good, and I was advised if I nipped back in 4 weeks for a tidy around the fringe, ears and neck that it wouldn't cost extra (But if clippers or restyling required obviously that carries the standard cost). All in all I was pleased and would recommend to any gent after a quick cut on a walk in basis.

I attended Hairloom to have a 'new do' for my recent university graduation. Being in a wheelchair means that a trip to the hairdresser can be quite tough. I was able to park on the street right outside the shop, but had I not been able to do so there is a flat carpark with no steps and a slight slope very nearby.

There was a small lip to get in the front door. My husband was able to get me over with ease, but had he not been able to I am in no doubt that one of the ladies would have helped me.

The salon floor and waiting area was accessible and large enough for my wheelchair so I didn't feel like I was constantly in the way. This was a nice feeling because I usually do feel in the way.

I was offered coffee while I waited which was lovely. I had no clue what I wanted but Sharron gave me some pointers. I was helped from my wheelchair to the stylists chair. I didn't have to do anything, the stylists made sure that I was perfectly safe and comfortable over the sink. While my colour was being applied I was talked to with warmth and genuine interest by the staff. It was so nice to feel like everyone other customer in the salon. A lady named Becky washed my hair at the colour and gave me the most wonderful scalp massage. I would literally have paid JUST for that! After my colour was completed the stylist talked me through what she was doing as she cut my hair, and talked to me about getting the most from my hair and keeping the colour vibrant.

I used to use another salon, but when I lost the last of my mobility I couldn't access their sinks anymore. But I actually noted that the full colour and restyle was about 15% cheaper than my former stylist, and the service (i.e scalp massage) was a bit nicer.

For the hour and a bit that my hair took to complete I actually forgot how 'different' I appear to be, I felt like the old me, and really enjoyed the experience. Thanks Hairloom! I'll be back soon.

I have curly hair which is hard to manage. I've spent years looking for someone who can handle it well. A young lady, I didn't get her name, cut my hair and asked me questions about how I manage it. She gave me exactly what I asked for. For the first time in years, I am so happy and I will definitely be asking for her in the future

I came in today and saw Laura. She knew exactly what needed doing to my hair before I even told her what issues I was having with it, and did an absolutely wonderful job for a very reasonable price. She was friendly and very pleasant during the cut, and I left very happy with the service she gave me. Have been using Hairloom for years and have never had a bad experience.

Love popping into Hairloom. Don't have to mess about making an appointment. Nip in on a late night after work. Always a warm welcome, hair advise and a good cut. Prices are reasonable too....keep up the good work girls

Brilliant hairdresser's. Friendly experienced staff, TV to watch while you wait, and the bonus is the reasonable prices and cute little dogs to stroke while you wait your turn. A great hairdresser's.
