I've been going to Richard at Avalon for over 12 years. I always receive excellent attention and the whole experience is top class. I have thick, curly hair which is difficult to cut but he always manages to make it look fab. He's a highly skilled professional with a lovely, sunny personality.

Richard has been cutting my hair beautifully for 30 years. The staff at Avalon are always lovely, kind and friendly . A clean and professional salon I can thoroughly recommend Richard for an excellent haircut- never had a bad haircut in 30 years ! Polly Sophie and Jo for great colours . Thoroughly recommend this salon !!

Myself and family members have been going to Richard for 20 years and moved with him to Avalon. Richard is as good as it gets and is top bloke. All the other staff at Avalon are spot on. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I thoroughly recommend Avalon - recently I had a fantastic blow dry which lasted for several days and received a number of compliments. A very professional outfit with super friendly staff.

I just LOVE my haircut, after having many duff ones and spending horrendous amounts I have found my saviour. Richard and the team are the most genuine I have encountered. Richard knew exactly how to correct mistakes made by previous hairdressers, I can now walk with confidence with my hair just easily falling into place. I have only known one other hairdresser in all my years (many many moons ago in Kent) that can cut hair so well that no matter which way the wind blows it falls right into place. I found Richard pleasant and honest with wonderful humour, I haven’t smiled so much in a long time and the bonus is I have an amazing haircut. Thank you! I shan’t be using anyone else from here on in. See you in June.

Unfortunately this was the last time I will be able to have my hair done here as moving too far away to call back. Jo has been doing my hair for the last 18 months and she is so friendly and gives a great hair cut. It took me years to find someone good tondo my hair so the search is on now in my new locality to get near the standard. Thanks Jo!
