went into wilkos to buy one item, asked for some help because the self scanning till didnt say if it was card only (i had a £5 note) and the worker shouted at me because i didnt know how to use the till.

Great they let dogs in now x

I returned a item the staff was not helpful at all need people skills training on how to talk to customers 🙄

Used to love Wilko but It's become pretty expensive compared to rivals in town like QD. Also, self scan tills are never open leading to needless queueing. Today both self service queues were closed and both manned till the cashier had gone off to do something so queues at both. I abandoned my shop, other stores are available.

Staff told by head office to promote self-service tills, so they do not open up tills, but stand around telling customers to use self-service, including those in their 80s, to whom the tech is not familiar.

Regular errors on self-serve tills. Not fit for purpose.

I deatiled my experiences to head office, having completed the feedback form. I received a response thst was clearly a cut and paste as it did not address any concerns raised, including permitting long queues and crowding in store without social distancing during a pandemic, while staff stood around suggesting using self-service, rather than opening more than 1 till.

I emailed back immediately. No response. That was 5 months ago. Dreadful.

Staff are great. Management is dreadful.

Just what you expect from this all round handy hardware store. Sensible Covid precautions in place, self service check outs available

Friendly staff, good prices and a large range of products. I ho there quite often as they have chocolate, beauty and candles.
