Tardis of a shop from a bygone era. Sells everything including the kitchen sink. Malcolm is at the heart of the community in Ham and runs a very helpful service.

No matter what obscure thing I come in for, Malcolm invariably finds something tucked away in a corner! Very friendly, helpful people.

A real old fashioned hardware shop where Malcolm provides advice and personal service. An elderly neighbour asked me to get a replacement wick for her ancient Alladin paraffin heater. I thought it was mission impossible. Nevertheless, I went to Malcolm and after rummaging around, he turned up 2 spare wicks. I asked him to replace the part as I didn’t have a clue. It turned out the old wick was rusted in and it took him 15 mins to extract the old part. It goes without saying that I could never have done it myself.

This shop is a local asset and deserves your support. Use it or lose it!

I really love this hardware shop, its just got everything you could possibly want for any house of flat, to either fix, repair or just need. I have gone in asking for a thingy..or a widget... and Malcolm knows just what I mean and need. Malcolm and Joe are really legends, should have been in comedy, funny and very professional. I've been coming to this shop since I was a kid. I'm now 50. It is THE best hardware store in London. He has never failed me. It has everything: big, small, weird, rare, odd and fantastic - to fix any job, contraption or device. A taste of the old-school. A way of life as it should be - local expert, local shopping. Love it.

Preempting this year's novice gardeners 'lockdown rush' Malcolm has stocked up on seeds, spuds and other garden kit and as usual happy to offer advice and guide us towards a fruitful 2021 growing season. What would we do without him 😉

We love this shop and so does our dog as she always gets a biscuit from Mal. Best hardware store you could hope for.

Wonderful source of hardware - items that are hard to find in big retail outlets. Very helpful staff who bend over backwards to help.
